Good deal, got a 1TB one atm and it's been on for over 35k hours so reliable :P
Considering buying one, thanks.
Most likely reason as to why it is so cheap is due to the fact its USB 2.0. Guess it has been discontinued by WD as they move to USB 3.0/eSATA and Amazon want to get rid of their stock.
I'd personally not buy it as a external drive due to the fact its USB 2.0 (slow) but you it is a good buy if you want to gut it and remove the hard drive inside it and use it internally.

Does fine for me as by looks of the RT-N66U router only supports USB 2.0
But same model 2TB and 1TB are at £70 (both USB 2.0)

I needed something to back up on to, Speed isn't really an issue as its done automatically at night when not in use, so as long as its done by the next morning I'm not too fussed.

I had a WD Bluering network thing, was 1TB and it failed on me when the firmware got corrupt, was my own fault for getting impatient and pulling the power on it, gutted the drives and one failed the other night, not used the other..
I see you ordered it anyhow! :P
