It don't matter how high your range is just have like 500 arrows, steel would be best

If you stand in the right place it can't hit you but you can hit it

I meleed the dragon, I was lvl 55 with a high defence and low strength, alot of people dont train defence but train strength really high :s

i was about 55 as well, i just used like a dozen attack, str, def pots, and a load of lobbys.

I wouldnt recommend ranging it, it's hard to get into exactly the right place (that's how i died :( i was 50-something when i did it, and i only used about 6 lobsters - so you take as many as you can and it'll be fine.
