Proof that MODs are outsourced to Concentrix in Costa Rica - Pics included

Just found out that the moderation is definitely outsourced to Concentrix and the office is in Costa Rica. Before people said this but I wasn't sure if it was true.

On the Concentrix Costa Rica office's Facebook page there is a photo album called "Habboween 2012" with pictures of the outsourced moderators in Halloween costumes. In some of the pictures, Habbo is visible on the computer screens in the background. There is also a picture showing the office with Habbo signs attached to the roof, marking the office space for the moderation of Habbo.

There are many more pictures in the album on the facebook page.

I know this has been known by quite a lot of people, but It was just rumors really, nothing was proven.

Yeah but there was a bit of a debate, plus Paul seemed to contradict this. Also there wasn't really any proof.

Just because a company can wear what ever they like doesn't change what sort of company it is, How they work, or even how hard they work, I mean in some business's wearing a suit just wouldn't work and isn't going to help the business at all. Although im totally agree about the mask, That is real silly. Never the less this has been known for years, Now the proof has came, fair play

There has to be a certain line to draw between casual and just looking like a slob though. I'm sure people at Google or Facebook wear casual clothing but they're still professional people and I'm sure won't dress like utter crap. :P I'm not saying shirt, tie.. but if I was looking to keep my job/or impress I'd at least make myself presentable.

They're working for a multi-million $ company. You'd have thought they'd want to present themselves a bit better than the picture suggests! If not for the company but for themselves. :P I'm not required to wear shirt and trousers/shoes when I come in out of hours.. but I still make myself look smart because people think more of you if you do :D

Damn.. they must be willing to do Habbo's work for next to nothing. They can't moderate the hotel and now we can clearly see why.

Clearly people disagree with me though as they feel the need to -rep me. Next time I'll turn up and teach my class with an anon mask on with an AC/DC black top and jeans on and see how long it takes for me to get a disciplinary.

if you don't deal face to fact with clients/costumers etc then all you need to make sure is your clean and your clothes are clean. Advertisers often go around looking "slobby" :p

plus it was halloween, they probably had a dress-down day for it or something.

If Habbo/Sulake and any company associated with them wore suits you know they're not right for the field they're working in. A sense of humour and distancing yourselves from professionalism make companies like this work - take Google, Facebook, Mojang, Electronic Arts etc.

The only thing this disproves (because it was considered fact that they were outsourced to Costa Rica) is that MODs aren't great apes, which would of made sense given the way they act around ANYTHING in the hotel. Just because Paul said they weren't (and the man is a walking, talking, tweeting bag of horse manure) doesn't mean it's true. Paul is an imbecile who only knows how to lie and offend his customers.

More fun than a lot of people. My workplace deals with professionals and by half don't they look like them. :P

They're still worse than what I expected.. once again Habbo is a multi-million $ company. I'd have thought they'd have looked for more in their moderation staff... but hey ho! Clearly Habbo went for the cheapest option and don't give a ****! Now no-one can complain about the awful moderation because their staff are obviously up for the job..... which we've proved time and time again.... they're not!!!!!!

The amount of unfair bans and stupid bans I thought more people would have supported my argument :P but this is a forum and you can all form your own opinions xD

I'm glad they're not all wearing suits, acting all super serious (for Halloween, no less) - they should be allowed to have fun, and TBH, where I work, I have to dress like I'm going to a funeral every day, this is refreshing.

I wish they weren't outsourced, only due to the language barriers and cultural differences that are cause for so many unfair bans, that's it.
