just found this video and it's probably one of her best live performances. she's improved so much since she first started performing live. she isn't as awkward whilst on stage and she looks amazing too which is always a bonus. obvs if you don't like her music you won't like the video but you can't say she can't sing. her voice is amazeballssss!

Aaah I've been waiting to see a live performance of this for ages, thanks for posting :) Love her so much.

Because she makes music that is emotive? If you're going to be ignorant and foolish with your posts at least back it with something that doesn't make you sound like a complete idiot. Grow up.

I never said her music wasn't emotive, I just don't like her voice. You can't give **** to people calling them ignorant and foolish, which I am far from both, for not liking an artist you yourself like. Its called an opinion, whether it be a childish comment or not, its still an opinion.

"She makes me want to jump off a roof" isn't really saying "I don't like her voice", is it? Foolish.

Its called a joke my friend, you need to lighten up. Plus I've said many of times in other threads that I don't like her voice, no need for me to say it again. I only posted here because Cameron wanted to. Like I said i'm far from foolish, as I am neither stupid nor unwise, just because I don't like Lana doesn't make me foolish, yes i agree my comment may have been childish but it was a joke.

Well what else is there to be foolish about sweetheart? Seeing as the thread is about her song and your arguement is about my opinion on her song

I saw other videos on YouTube of her doing this live and she sounds fine but this one is the best so far. Sounds much better acoustic.

Same could be said for you, seeing as the only basis you have of calling me stupid/unwise/ignorant is this thread as I have never spoke to you personally before.

"you can never tell a book by its cover."

*don't judge a book by its cover

1944 in the American journal American Speech as "you can't judge a book by its binding".

In 1946 the phrase first appeared in the murder mystery novel Murder in the Glass Room (by Edwin Rolfe and Lester Fuller) as "you can never tell a book by its cover."

^ Oh my god at the above.. LOL

Anyway, I really like the song and stuff. I don't think she's someone I'd ever really see live though as after a while I do get bored of her voice and things, but that's not to say she isn't good live.

I dislike this song, but I agree she has gotten way better in terms of perfomance! In the first stage perfomance, she had no idea what to do with her hands and it was just way too awkward. In this one you can see she is way more relaxed, nice one. Also like how she is dressed now. Makes it look less weird than that long dress.

Absolutely love this performance. really loving the song atm and listening to it so much when on bus etc and I rly do think her performances are totally magical live, really full of emotion. When I first heared her do a live, pretty sure it was of born to die, I was quite shocked by how different it was and that made me dislike her live at first, but only took a few listenings to realise how much I actually loved her live and how much soul and emotion went into all her performances, just is so much better than recorded veresions imo.
