View Full Version : money driven / passion driven?
are you money or passion driven, as in would you take the worst job in the world if it meant you got loads of money in which you could buy luxuries and nice things or would you take a job which paid just a basic amount on which you could just afford to live on without holidays, cars etc? just because it would be a fun job to do / something that you would enjoy doing?
for me it would be the money, i could have all the fun i wanted outside work and compensate for how crap it would be.

no way i'm completely passion driven because i want my work to matter to other people and there are plenty more benefits to that than money. anyway i want my man to be rich i mean financially secure cough so i won't have that much of a burden hopefully! :)

both
i'd want a job that I can enjoy and wouldn't dread getting up in the morning otherwise i'd find myself bored of my life in no time (doesn't need to be one i love, but one i don't mind doing), and i'd need one with good money as i'd want security for my family (if i ever get married) and ability to buy luxuries and give kids a comfortable and good life.
money driven, just have fun in my free time WORK TO LIVE DONT LIVE TO WORK BROTHERS
a fun job but cant afford ****? I'd end up having less fun in the long run
Same as Scott, it'd have to be both however hard it may be. I'd probably only go into a career where I could start at the low level and be on pretty poor pay however still enjoy it. Then work my way up to the big bucks.

I'm both but definitely more passion driven. I will try my best to make sure that I'm in a job which I enjoy because at least that way I can (try and) look forward to getting up for work.

A bit of both, but I'm definitely more towards being money-driven. I'd rather live a life of luxury and excess whilst putting up with a job I disliked than just getting by in a job I love.

A bit of both but let's face it... Hardly anyone enjoys going to work, no matter what job you have.
Oh and for everyone saying money driven and would rather do a job they hate, well easy solution go and work for the council and become a bin man lol sure they get paid something ridiculous.
Passion driven. I've always wanted to have a job that i like and i'm satisfied with it not working for something that im not interested and devote my whole life into the job just for the money, i could always get a promotion and get a higher position and increase my income but it depends on what kind of job im going for

Career-wise it's a passion thing as I'm more likely to be in horrendous debt than make it to the big catwalk events but who knows, I'll just marry a someone rich and live off their money

money. when i'm not paying for it, i have an expensive taste & lifestyle, and i gotta fuel that somehow without spiralling into debt.

i'm still money driven.
I won't lie and say I don't want money because I do, but only to the extent that it keeps me stable. Other than that I'm completely passion driven, I am working towards the perfect career for me that involves helping other people which is what I really love to do, as cliche as that sounds.

Probably passion, but the jobs that I would consider to be enjoyable to me would be high paid, working in F1 for example...
