Didn't know where to put this, so I put it here as it isn't spam. I haven't a clue what this is about, can someone please elaborate? Why is one of the busiest roads in the center of Dublin being put to halt so Israelis and Palestinians can shout across the road at one another?
I don't mean to sound like a complete and utter **** but if I lived abroad and there was feuds back at home between the Catholics and Protestants I wouldn't ever have the cheek to start chanting or protesting in my new home country, ******* disgraceful.

I have an Israeli friend who's lived in Canada for the past ten years or so who strong supports Israel and I have a friend who came to my University from Bangladesh who has the exact opposite views.
I'm mindful and respectful of both their opinions and so I wouldn't mention this to them, but all I see are innocent people unnecessarily dying and that completely disgusts me. I think both main parties involved in this dispute should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for the state of things.

It's funny because Jesus is Jewish. Which is the home of Jewish people, and you're name is Jesus, it's funny.

Did anyone see these pocket-propaganda images from the IDF on Twitter during the conflict? Very interesting:

I am genuinely interested to hear the other side of this, would you care to explain?
From what I see, Hamas started this period of conflict.

It was Jesus' home 2000 years ago, more recently than that it was the home of mostly Arabs (68%) but apparently a religious claim is more important than human rights. Now THAT's funny

I would suggest that driving out 700,000 Palestinians from their homeland in order to create a Zionist democratic state for America to have a hold in the Middle East should be counted as the "start". I would also suggest that these figures (http://www.ifamericansknew.org/) are kinda indicative of who the aggressor is

But i'm talking as of recent, what happened is history just as the Turkish settlement of Cyprus has happened and so on.
I'm far from the biggest defender of Israel on this forum either, indeed i'm usually the one pointing out the hypocrisy over the Iran situation.

I don't approve of the Turkish invasion either, but that at least is a mostly peaceful affair at the moment, while Israelis are still bombing the homes and businesses of the people whom they encroached upon, and turning a complete blind eye (as in 0% arrest rate) to those Israeli extremists making violent pricetag attacks which are quite literally by their own admission intended as acts of terror

Great link, the most important in my opinion* is the Israeli settlement expansion, which has been actively encouraged by whichever weak coalition president has resided since its establishment, it linked to a very detailed map (http://peacenow.org/map.php), which I've been in search of something along the lines of for months, up until now I reffered to this:
http://www.thecornerreport.com/media/blogs/links/settlementsmap1.jpg
Which is deceptively poor, but brings the point across.
EDIT: *Most important in terms of pushing the agenda for an all encompassing state of Israel in a legal sense and taking the crucial access to land away from the displaced peoples of Palestine, as opposed to human suffering, which of course is most important on a human rights level.
That propaganda image is very effective but I can't help but wonder if they're being bias
