After delaying the original release from October to November, they've finally released it. I'll download it after, I hope it's faster than the current one which always freezes and goes slow on both my laptop and PC :P.
Find out more here:

Need it for Apple devices lol. Especially since I can't backup my iPhone without it because the 5GB iCloud storage isn't enough :@.

Used it for 30 seconds, hated it. Don't even need it anymore, use Spotify Premium haha.
It looks complicated, not 'simple' :/

Everybody who can't use spotify because spotify only supports a small fraction of countries.

The spotify index is the one which matters, canada ranks terribly on it.

yeah, itunes is pretty redundant; only use it to put music onto my iphone. spotify for everything else. the update is alright, but pretty useless for me tbf.

*shrugs* I just use grooveshark anyway and I don't have to pay for any premium things.

Not sure what you are trying to point out? Grooveshark does a paid service as well.

Yes but I have absolutely no use for it ever since they made their mobile html5 player free to use.

Yeah but your post to me was making out it's better than Spotfiy because you don't have to pay for premium things. In fact, it's your choice if you want the extra features or not.

perhaps you missed the part where I said spotify isn't available here. That's why I brought up how I can easily use grooveshark. I wouldn't know if it's better than spotify or not because I don't use it.

No I didn't miss that part. I thought this part of your post was a hint that you didn't have to pay for such features where as on Spotfiy you do:

Just because it isn't in your country, doesn't automatically mean you don't know about it but ok :P

Jesus christ that too long.
MAKE LOVE NOT WAR.
It works great on the Mac, as always, the big improvement seems to be on my PC, Faster on the store, faster to start up, doesn't free, seems a lot more optimized for windows finally.

True although I don't know much about it, nor does anyone I know in real life because nobody here uses it!
Most people here use YouTube, Grooveshark, torrenting or probably just pay for music in iTunes.
Could say it's a Spotifyght hur hur hur.
Haven't downloaded it yet, will do when I'm next on my PC. Sounds good from what I've heard though!
Don't really see any reason to use iTunes as a music player/library (except perhaps if you use a iPod/iPhone) as you can get much, much better music players on both Windows and OSX.

I only use iTunes as it works alright for me, syncs my iPod (soon to be an iPad too) and its apps fine. I've never really had any problems with iTunes, does the job for me fine. Only thing I don't like is that if you set it as the default player for music files, if you play a file, it adds it to your library. Good I suppose for some, but I find it annoying as there are some files I want to play that I don't want in my iTunes library, so I have to play them in WMP/VLC.

Not sure what I think about it but I rarely use it. I use Winamp a lot more. One thing that annoys me is iTunes hasn't got an option to clear dead files you have to either do it manually or use an additional program (it's free and portable but still). For a program as big as this and a feature that's quite handy it seems rather stupid to not have it - Yes I know songs that are missing get exclamation marks but if you have a large library going and removing all these takes far too long.

Agreed, I just download/delete apps from my phone and if I ever need to backup I do it to iCloud.
Just downloaded & installed it, flippin love it.
