A lot of people probably don't know this but this actually started due to a department store running a Santa advert which had a telephone number people could ring. The phone number was a misprint and actually rang up the Air Defence Command. The person who was on duty at the time told the staff to give a kids a current location for Santa. This then continued when CONAD was replaced with NORAD and is now ran by a group of volunteers to make the current tracker possible.

Pretty cool :P

Google, Google knows everything.

So Google are better at defending the two countries than the Aerospace Defence Command is? RED ALERT.

Well the US Military doesn't have self-driving cars either so I guess not.

They have drones with missiles on instead. Self-driving cars isn't important for them! :P

Google could easily have missile drones if they want to, in fact as soon as the US Government legalise civilian drones I reckon they will. Probably enact something akin to "The Pirate Cloud" a la tpb

I don't think they would legalise drones with missiles on Will.... Plus Google don't have a spacecraft spending many days in space where the US Air Force do. SO WHICH ONE KNOWS WHERE SANTA REALLY IS? DO DO DO DO.

Apple Maps sucks so they didn't kick up a fuss otherwise they'd look like douches. Also Santa doesn't ahve to follow import regulations.
