So I was looking at stuff around the forum, and noticed that Hecktix was a former ''shows manager''. Can anyone tell me what this was?

Habbox TV I believe!

HabboxTVHabboxTV was a department set up in 2005, operating from www.habboxtv.com they produced Habbo style flash video's very similar to or imitating real life TV programs. The department went through several themes such as Halloween themed programs and Christmas themed programs, even producing some well known soaps such as Eastenders! HabboxTV was also sometimes known in short at HxTV.
The HabboxTV department was closed on the 20th of June 2007. As time went on the HxTV audience kept decreasing and decreasing until it was decided that the amount of work required to continue producing programs was too much when there wasn't many people watching them. On the 20th of June 2007, the general manager ---MAD--- announced that HabboxTV was to close with immediate effect. All HxTV staff where released and the department was history. ---MAD--- said that the programs would be made available on habbox.com however over time these videos have been lost and many people have searched for them, but they where never found. I believed it was too much workl also we have HabboxLive plays which could be seen as an alternative.

it's time consuming, wasn't THAT popular and takes a hell of a lot of planning :P He asked me originally to consider taking the management of it but it just looked so confusing!

HabboxTV was set to be put back onto Habbox.com (As a sort of side site) but no one could find all the videos, I had a lot of them but can't find them, Although if I do ever find them I will return them.

it was HabboxTV.com, We had a lot of problems, I mean for one I didn't even have cPanel access when I was manager (Asst) plus the manager at the time wasn't very active, Even back then when Habbox was really popular, HabboxTV was very behind, lots of hours went into a video, I mean you needed a flash artist,script writer, director, people to act, Lots and lots of time per show, yet only 20-30 people viewed them and actually enjoyed them.

I kept the videos but its been many many years, put them on a hard drive (i have a few) just havent had time to look

Wasnt Habbox Shows Manager not the original name of Productions manager and then it was changed to the latter when HxTV closed and just productions remained? Correct me if im wrong scottish as you'll know this...

Heck thing I was shows staff aswel, It was productions or something led by Sammeth

I've always loved the idea of hxtv and gutted I missed it. There was an attempt of a revival that I joined when Sammeth. was productions manager (or maybe he was in general mgmt, I can't remember) but due to the massive amount of work involved behind the scenes, it never really took off the way the general management at the time hoped it would.
