..what company would you prefer it to be sold to?
Would you still play?
Do you think Habbo would improve?

Just wondering, heard someone in the theatredrome shout Sulake is selling Habbo when Paul La Fo was in there.

Someone that would want to improve it and see it as a good investment.

I doubt they would, what is Sulake without Habbo?

Jagex. they don't always get it right but they seem to be more community-driven most of the time which is what Habbo needs

This :)

Although I think it's more likely that, given the attempts to rework habbo into some kind of social gaming platform, they're trying to appeal to the likes of zynga or miniclip.

Habbox

I wouldn't really know, I'd prefer some investors to create a new company solely for the product as I wouldn't trust modern gaming companies not to milk it.

Disney should buy it, it would be called Club Habbo.

The only way Sulake would get rid of Habbo is if the company is going bust. Habbo is pretty much their only product they do these days or one that makes them the most money. Not sure who I would like to take over but a company with good reputation, investment and got the staff willing to put the changes that it needs into action.

Hope they would sell it to people who make it better LOL!

Who'd want to buy such a deeply uncool, and socially tarnished product? Guess that's a question for another thread.

- If they sold it I'd actually be pretty optimistic about the future. Surely they'd struggle to do a worse job, right?

I'd definitely want jagex to own habbo. Would I still play habbo? It doesn't matter who bought habbo, as long it's not sulake they'd do a fab job!!!!

Disney wouldn't buy it, they already had a product off of Sulake and it failed.

Zynga or miniclip would be a nightmare. Hopefully neither of those!

Well if they were to sell it let's hope it was to a company that would have an interest in keeping it's users happy, improving and updating the site to keep users happy. Listen to complaints and deal with them accordingly.

As xxMATTGxx said; it's their biggest income, the only reason they'd sell up would be if the company went bust.

Disney or Jagex.
Because when I was young and played Clubpenguin Disney had great customer support.

I think that the sale of Habbo is imminent! Paul is doing an horrific job and thinks the saviour for Habbo is Games, funny how he hasn't bought back Lido Diving or Wabble Squabble!

Jagex

but obviously Jagex wouldn't take it on, nor would I really want them too. They just know how to build a successful game that involves their community and Sulake couldn't give a **** as long as the money is rolling in.

British company > Finnish company

As long as it didn't get worse, I wouldn't mind and would still keep playing. xD
