Basically someone hacked my habbo account while i was online...

It came up the 'You've been signed in from another browser message' on my client and i battled for 10 minutes signing in and being signed back out again by this 'hacker' I tried to change my password but it was difficult as I kept getting signed out, so eventually the hacker won and changed my password and email address and thus proceeded to empty my rooms ect. On an occasion I had used my banking details to purchase credits and so was worried about those details - also just to mention I don't actually go on to any habbo related websites other than this and habbo it's self so I actually have no Idea why or how I was hacked. As I was concerned about my details I submitted a ticket to habbo which got the following reply:

Thanks for contacting Habbo.

Please do not open additional or duplicate tickets. Your existing query will be dealt with by a Customer Support Agent as soon as possible. Should you wish to provide further information on your existing ticket, please reply to the email you were sent when you opened it, or click on "Check Your Existing Requests" on the Habbo Help Tool, where you can provide additional updates to your open tickets.

Best,

I only submitted one help ticket and now I have no idea if I will receive any other help.

Anyways this is just a heads up, if anyone can suggest anything I can do about this help ticket please let me know.

I have no idea if this is in the correct section, sorry if it isn't.

See, this is why they needed to fix the bugs on the Account Lock to prevent such as this from happening. Sorry that you got hacked and by looks it was just something unfortunate unless you mentioned anything in a Habbo room previously. I'd open another ticket and see the reply you get back.

This always sucks when it happens. But believe it or not, you are never magically just 'hacked'.

It's possible someone has gained your information from you from a variety of different sources. Or someone could have infected your computer, or even accessed your email address.

Take care out there and remember not to give out any personal details to anyone. This includes, birthdays, address, hometown, school name, facebook, skype etc.

I've had a similar experience but they only took my coins and rares and left my account :P. The best thing to do is try to submit a help ticket or just move on.

Awe thats to bad... I got hacked like 2 years ago and It was somewhat depressing, I lose everything I had worked hard for and it was my habbo casino "friend" who hacked me...
One thing habbo needs to do is fix the bugs on Account Lock as it was a wonderful system, I believe that the system would be better if they made it so that it would lock ur account if it wasnt from your ip but to a wider area. Idk what the specific bugs were but that was one that arose to me. I didnt mind as it only happened maybe 3 times and that was due to me being at my cousins playing habbo instead of at home

Well, i got a reply from habbo, they asked a series of account questions and one of my answers wasn't accurate so they won't discuss my account with me :/ I guess I should wave goodbye to my account.

If you have the bank details you used to purchase credits, that should be more than enough. However I wouldn't ever trust putting my bank details into the help tool seeing as it seems to always be getting hacked.

this has happened to me before and the reason it happened (my own stupid fault) was because someone 'tricked' me into clicking a link and for some reason i clicked run on the pop up and from then i was screwed really. a key logger and a bunch of other nice things was then on my computer and that's how the hacker got me. did you click on anything before? as jake said, if you've purchased credits before and you're able to tell them when and what method that should be more than enough. if they do give your account back they will ask you for an email and they will put your account on it but unfortunately you won't get back other accounts on that id, as the hacker has basically taken it all, unless you make more tickets and go through the same process :( sorry to hear this has happened to you, it's not nice and i hope you get your account back :)

I'm always cautious about what links i click on and i don't click on links that i don't know about, as for the credits I could provide full details of those although they won't discuss my account with me until i provide accurate answers to all the questions and to be honest I don't know all of the answers.
