Rumored to begin Dec 20th and end Jan 4th

Anything you're looking for being in it?

I'll no doubt buy a bunch of stuff just cause it's on sale, but only really looking to get Skyrim (maybe DLC) and Garrys Mod

Looking at Ace of Spades & Sonic Adventure: Battle but otherwise no games I'm desperate to get right now. I'm sure that'll change when the sales come out, and payday goes in :D!

I've been saving a lot of money for the Christmas sale from my birthday so I'm planning to splash out a fair bit. Also all the free games from doing the challenges :D

CrazyLemurs
14-12-2012, 08:22 PM
Might spend some Xmas money on some games that are in it, but I find I've kinda exhausted all I can of Steam: there's nothing left that I want. I'm pretty specific with what I play though so maybe Steam isn't really the best place for me to look. All of the current MMOs are either ignored, tried or ones that I play now xD

Ace of Spades isn't really as good as it was, it's become a bit silly and it just doesn't have that same sort of feeling :P

Ah bugger, well I may give it a go anyway just to see whether it's had any feel whatsoever to the original.

As much as it's a good deal, Steam frown upon people buying steam keys from sites (which is basically what that is), and I've heard of people getting their accounts banned because of it.

Search Steam CD keys, check the Steam Forums. You're a bit silly if you think an external site can sell them at that price in a legitimate manner.

Sites like that buy in bulk on deals day, then sell them off with a higher markup, though not as high as the regular price. Its a clever idea but Steam really don't like it. That also goes for people activating Eastern European steam keys from retail, because the games are so cheap there and yet still nobody can really afford them.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/224540/

Say hello to the creative shooter. Ace of Spades is the first-person shooter that lets you create your battleground, destroy it, then create it again. Up to 32 players choose from 4 unique classes and jump into team-based, multiplayer mayhem across an endlessly evolving battlefield, to construct, destruct and take out the opposition.

I guess so? :P

As much as it's a good deal, Steam frown upon people buying steam keys from sites (which is basically what that is), and I've heard of people getting their accounts banned because of it.

You'll only get trouble from Valve if the key your purchased is from an illegal seller, often these are sites that selling Russian keys at massive discounts, sites like GetGamesGo, who run GetLoadedGo, are legit sellers, there is no problem buying from them, I have got quite a lot from them in the past.

In regards to the sale, I don't get paid until next week so I have to wait until then before I can start getting anything, my friend picked me up a copy of Krater and I've been enjoying that.

My friend actually has a ps3 at uni which he wants more games for so i've got him like 3 ps2 ones cos they're cheaper but still work woo

Does he have one of the old PS3s (As in really old, like 2007 era) because the newer ones can't play PS2/PS1 games.

The Sims 3 for £10.19 is tempting, but I don't know if I'll get bored quickly. Anyone got it? Is it good?

I dunno scottish; but if you start playing Civ 5 then you will be on your computer for hours... its a proper addictive game.

New Steam deals ain't doing much for me, think I've got enough to last me anyway.
