Anyone had the chance to see it yet?

I really don't know what to make of this episode!! I couldn't sleep last night for making sense of it all. I like the scene where Serena calls gossip girl and Dan shows up hahah but there is literally no way he can be gossip girl? It doesn’t make any sense!!! Half the time blasts were published about him as soon as they just happened?? :l Seriously, how much of a psychopath is he for keeping that pretence up for years, hurting everyone he loves and himself, just to fit in to the upper east side? And how can they all, especially Serena just accept it? It’s so calculating and twisted. All the relationships are so dysfunctional omg. I hated that William just used Ivy to get back with Lily. Wish she hadn't of ended up with him! Nate as mayor????? LMAO hilarious!! Georgina and Jack together was a nice surprise though. Anyway I don't care, as long as Chuck and Blair got their happily ever after!! Loved their I do’s and when Henry said Daddy –sobs- Kinda wanted to hear Because I’m Chuck Bass for one last time though :(

i stopped watching gossip girl sometime after georgina was pretending to be pregnant so LONG TIME AGO I KNOW
kind of wish i kept it up :( i only really watched it for chuck and blair but something happened between them so i was like UGH NOT WATCHING ANYMORE

but yeah from my brief viewing of the show it's just not possible for dan to be GG lol.... i'm sure the first few seasons it was never a question of who gossip girl was, everyone just accepted that it was someone WE DIDN'T KNOW in the show. why did they have to make it into this big thing about revealing who it was and then it being one of the main characters?

Not the best final episode ever but there were sweet moments. Blair and Chuck together at last. Who saw that coming..

I stopped watching Gossip Girl during season 2 but kinda followed the story line up until the last episode.

I had a suspicion Dan was gonna end up as Gossip Girl but there's a couple of plot holes with that!! I really loved the ending thought it wrapped up really nicely and Dan and Serena together woo my OTP. And I loooved the Kristen Bell cameo.

But yeah since I didn't pay much attention to it I was so confused so gonna have to start watching it from the start again especially now knowing who Gossip Girl is.

Aww. My main reason for watching is chuck and blair too. Season five was torture!!
Yea the first few seasons, thy didn't but then they changed it in the direction of trying to find out who gossip girl was. There really wasn't enough episodes for season 6, and it all felt a bit rushed. I would have preferred them to not have Dan unless that was there plan from the start and there was no plot holes.

It made me sad not because it was the end, but because it was such a poor episode that it made me not even care that it's the end. Supposedly they did plan for Dan to be GG from the start and had to actually edit out a couple of scenes in the Pilot because they made it too obvious, but yeah it doesn't actually work which is a shame, and the whole "we all love each other" ending was far too unrealistic - Dan and Serena couldn't stay together more than a couple of months at a time even when Dan was controlling her every social action so there's no way they'd last 5 years just because he's not writing a gossip page any more. Also Nate being mayor? He's an ex-con with a history of drugs and his only acclaim is that his paper revealed who the teen goss figure really was lol. tbh NONE of their endings make any sense except for Chair and maybe Jenny because she's totally fab, but overall load of utter nonsense from the finale which is a real shame

I've started re watching from the pilot and finding out gossip girl was dan has just ruined it for me. I probably would of been happy if serena and dan ended up together, if he wasn't gossip girl. Basically everything he is done has been a lie from when they met. How could you be with someone who manipulated you for years :S

I really think they are talking a pile of ****, in saying they planned it from beginning. Maybe they had the idea it would be dan in the pilot, but then didn't run with it. There is far too many inconsistencies in later episodes.

Also stopped watching Gossip Girl after season 2, and then only got a few episodes of season 4.
I do want to start watching it again after I finish PLL. :D
