Hey there! :) Thought I would see if anyone had any ideas on here, since I've searched google and stuff and had no luck so far :P
Basically I installed windows 8 a few weeks back, and since then my touchscreen has stopped working.
I have a Packard Bell onetwo all in one computer thing, and was running windows 7 on it before and the touchscreen worked fine etc. Since installing windows 8 the touchscreen doesnt work at all :(
I thought I might need to install a driver or something, but can't even see any drivers on the packard bell website that might work.
I think its annoying tbh!!!! Anyone got any suggestions as to what I could do or anybody know anything that I could download to make it work again? :(

Sounds like an issue with a driver or something. Do you have the model number for the computer?

A model number is a model number. Probably has it on the bottom/back/side of the computer - It could also mention it in the Computer Properties.

Edit: Does it have a PW.XXX somewhere? The XXX being other letters. For example: PW.U34

PW.U5R is the model number. S/N stands for serial number.

Serial number didn't work on the site but Will got us the model number. Right, it seems they don't have drivers for Windows 8 but I would assume the Windows 7 drivers should work. Have you tried downloading these from their site? I know you mentioned drivers in your post.
Edit: Ok, I re-read.
Go to: http://www.packardbell.co.uk/pb/en/GB/content/download and then type in: PW.U5R and select Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit depending on the one you have.

I have no idea which driver on the list would control it to be honest.

yeah I'm looking at the list and none of them seem to look like a touch screen driver LOL

Having read around a lot of the Packard Bell oneTwo's touch screens do not work with Windows 8. I assume since there's no specific driver it uses default windows drivers.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :'(:'(:'(:'(:'( I bought windows 8 because I thought it would be great to have on a touchscreen with the metro and stuff, it makes no sense why they wouldnt let me install windows 8 on it when its quite a new computer :(

Its not Windows fault, you will have to wait for Toshiba to make a driver for it, and that's even if they will.

Yeahh I know :( It just sucks because the computer isn't old or anything and you would think packard bell or whoever would make the drivers compatible with windows 7 or windows 8? :(

I don't see why MS would rip any touchscreen drivers out of 8, from 7, to be honest.
But as far as I'm aware, Windows doesn't carry any plug'n'play drivers for touchscreens anyway.

So basically my options are to continue using computer with windows 8 and no touchscreen
or
Revert back to windows 7 and get my touchscreen feature back? :P
