This may seem a bit of strange question but.

Does anyone enjoy looking at pictures of abandoned places (Urban Exploring) like old Asylums, Hospitals, Cinemas, Tunnels that sort of stuff.

I always find it interesting.

Heres an example of a Military Hospital in Cambridge:

I love checking out http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/ - It has all sorts of places where people go and take photographs. Very interesting some of the places they end up at and when you start reading the history behind them as well.

Nope, I can't say I do look at places that are abandoned, although the topic itself looks interesting now that you've brought it up :P

I do this in my spare time, I go around old mining caves, exploring old abandoned factories, cinemas, M.O.D. property, of course I use safety gear and have the right equipment.
I wouldn't recommend visiting mining caves though, very dangerous.

i find some abandoned places (like manors) quite fascinating, especially as they always have a lot of history which can be pretty interesting to read about.

This kinda this has always intrigued me, so I love exploring abandoned places, and looking at photos/videos of them.
I think I just naturally tend to wander aimlessly away from people and find myself lost in all kinds of places, not always a good thing, lol.

Searched for my city and the town next to us on there, quite a few interesting things on there that I didn't know about. We have a underground subway and now I know when it was renovated that they took some of the stations away and didn't use some of the tunnels and that they are still there. Also the town hall was has old jail cells in it along with a courthouse.

I learned something from this thread, woo. :)

These places would be great in a Doctor Who episode. Or any film, for that matter.

There's meant to be loads of tunnels under my town from medieval times but no one has ever been in them for safety reasons or something

wikipedia:

A network of historic tunnels exists under the High Street; these are believed to date from medieval times. The tunnels have not been investigated, but one is easily accessible from the cellarage of Wilkinson Estate Agents at the top of Market Square. The cellar, probably an ice house, extends under the road by some 16 feet and is in very good condition. The tunnel is sealed for safety reasons. It goes in a southerly direction towards the former Market Tavern public house some 100 yards and legend has it that other tunnels from the church and other public houses link up under the street in network that covers some 500 yards.

would be well creepy to go in them THERE MIGHT BE DEAD BODIES OR SOMETHING AND GHOSTS AND A DEAD RAT

Find abandoned chemistry labs quite interesting myself, bit odd ill admit.

Personally though I got quite a bit of abandoned things around where I live and I find them scary more than anything, though that's probably due to location and the thought of gangs meeting in places like that ha ha.

Places like Chernobyl are very interesting. Especially when you know people used to live there and now it's a ghost town. (Call of Duty 4 quote/saying).

When you start looking into these places and reading a bunch of forums where they do trip reports. It's surprising how much stuff is still around that is abandoned or hasn't been discovered yet.
