However there's rumours today that Lampard has offered to take a £100,000 pay cut out of pure love for the club in order to stay, and Abramovich still refuses to offer him a contract. He's basically saying "thanks, but **** off" to a club legend.. :'(

The whole Lampard thing is very sad, still easily one of the greatest midfielders in the league and Abramovich is just utterly blind to it somehow. Would love to see him stay at Chelsea but not if they're gonna treat him that badly. His agent has today denied that the transfer interview ever took place though which is a bit odd considering the number of apparent quotes that came from it :P

Yeah its really sad that he seems to want to get rid of a club legend who the fans CLEARLY want to stay. The fact that he's willing to cut his wages by a reported two-thirds says just how much he wants to stay- and after his two goals at everton to win a game that we would otherwise have lost​ he has definitely proved that he's worth keeping. Oh well.

Reports today suggest Chelsea has agreed a £15m deal for Malaga's spain U21 international Isco.

He's a superb player and has massive potential, but where would he fit in when we already have Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Moses, Marin (and soon) De Bruyne all wanting those attacking spots? :S

Also (and here's the good bit :D) apparently chelsea are now going to offer lampard a new contract yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
