HabboTimes is closing.

Just went onto the Habbox twitter account and noticed that HabboTimes sent a tweet out and it seems like they are closing down. They have been around since 2004! Such a shame as I've always liked the fansite for it's layouts and features.

Wow that is a great shame, I always saw HabboTimes as one of the prominent fansites and it always looked amazing, even looking back at it now I love their designs. It had so much useful stuff on their site, sad to see it go.

HFFM went through a re-brand and then came back as a Habbo fansite - HabboTimes don't seem to be doing that, although they could come beck technically in the future if they decide to do that.

Whoa, HT is like the all-time greatest fansite... I remember it winning such award, even, during the Habbo World Championships of 06.

I'll miss that site.

I'm so sad about it. I'm german and that's the only fanpage i've ever used as i played habbo. now it's only habbotimes and habbox...
habbotimes had a huuge community, it was definitely a better community to discuss things as in habbo groups.

It's time to bring HabboTimes to an end.

In nine years more than 45000 Habbos registered on HabboTimes and wrote more than one million posts. Our sites were visited more than 250 million times from 167 different countries. It was an honour for us to be your fansite.

Your time in Habbo will end someday. It is meaningless. Neither your furniture nor your coins or badges are interesting for anyone in the real world. There will be the day when all these things become what they really are: Meaningless. Never forget that.

That is really sad. I was in the newspaper office Team from HabboTimes. It was really cool, news for the site to make, but the old time with habbo staffs are to end because, all habbo staffs away (in german habbo). HabboTimes, greats things end..

A tough market influenced by a dodgy company who doesn't like fansites :P It probably doesn't help Habbo have made their service expensive.

HabboTimes always seemed like a really good site, with a great layout and unique features - shame it's closing :(. To those saying they often when there for images and stuff, I recommend Habborator - I always use that for images :).

Here is a german Statement from the 2. adriministrator VanS. in english: It isn't an april fool und is was not planed as a april fool. We have a long time spoken for the end of HabboTimes and we are ultimately to the encision come, all offers to close and the forum as last offer to close. For the first of April then the Goodbye Site for the end this years remain shall.
