So new years eve, my friend told me that i should do the salt and Ice challenge (little did I know what was in store/what it was about), and so I tried it with my other friend. I realised it gives you a little burn. Why is this? And when will the burn go. My skin is still a bit red/swollen. Thank you.
PS: DONT DO IT!

cos the salt lowers the freezing point so it makes the ice cold x10
hope it hurt

I remember someone did it at my school for atleast 10 minutes, seen the burn on his hand, looked bad.

Never tried this, was quite interested when I saw a picture of a friend who had done it. Glad I didn't try it.

Did this, something to do with the reaction between them.
Had to put a little bandage or whatever around my hand as it burnt so bad. Was terrible ;;

omg when i watch this on youtube im in pain for them... i wanna do it but im to much of a *****
When the ice's temp is lower than the freezing point, the heat transfers from your skin to the ice faster, causing your skin's temp to go below freezing point very fast and you'll end up getting something like frostbite
don't understand why people do things to hurt themselves just to get attention on youtube or even just to try it

It'll go away within about erm a couple of weeks, mine did anyway. I did the same, I wanted to see how it worked, I understood the theory but doing it myself kinda helped certify it haha!
