Dont think this has been posted?
Nvidia has announced plans to produce its own hand-held video-games console.
Project Shield is Android-based and marries a 5in (12.7cm) touch-screen with joysticks, buttons and other controls, in a clam-shell design.
It is also designed to link to PCs offering access to more powerful games such as those on the Steam library.
The announcement was a surprise, as the US company has previously focused on selling chips and graphics cards to other manufacturers.

Really cool idea, but the controller looks clunky as **** and why buy this when there aren't many games optimised for Tegra 3, let alone Tegra 4. I also hate to think what the price of this will be.

With the back down it looks like a Morphy Richard sandwich toaster :P

It's an interesting looking console but I can't imagine a demand for it :/

Not something I'd buy myself. Looks cool but don't see the point in buying decent graphical games like Skyrim and so on and then playing it on a tiny screen.

You can stream it to your TV and as it's through steam you'd obviously be able to play on PC etc as well

If you streamed it via your TV would it not be hard to use the controller as the screen has to be open to. It looks nice but I'd rather just buy a big monitor and play straight via my computer
