Just saw the trailer for the evil dead remake. Interestingly both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are producing it so it might not be too bad (these two where behind the original. Not sure what to think at the moment.

read a little bit about it in empire. hmm, i doubt i'll go see it as it's not my kind of movie although the trailer isn't so bad, until she starts puking loads of **** on the person,

i'm really not a fan of gore but half of that looked fairly unrealistic or just poorly done imo

If you watch the original evil dead it is kinda over the top but on purpose. I'm not a massive gore fan. I love horror but like some substance. But I think this film looks like it isn't taking itself too serious unlike the likes of saw and other films.

Watched the film tonight was actually quite good although the gf hated it felt sick ha so it did its job. It had quite a bit of gore in it but it worked for me. Some are annoyed at some of the changes in this compared to the original but an exact remake would have been pointless and if you see it as a separate film, especially considering none of the original characters are in it, then it'll work better probably, did for me.

Really good film, I'm a big Evil dead fan [Obviously nothing compared to the old ones] Last 5/10 minutes of it was abit Meh

I won't go into to much detail but it should have ended before it.
