People around me have had them all the time and the adverts and free codes finally got to me! I've just ordered my first box which should arrive on Wednesday, had fun going through picking out what I wanted! Has anyone else had one of these? What do you think of them?

Not had them for a while, I think I tried it back when they first started and offered fresh fruit in the boxes. They were pretty good back then, I know they have stopped the fresh fruit these days so not sure how they still compare. Should still be good though.

yeah but you can hit 'love' on the ones you wouldn't mind, and 'bin' on ones you're allergic to (ha) or ones you really don't like, which is what I've done. also the whole send soon thing should help...

Mark
13-01-2013, 08:50 PM
I get them every week and lately I've been unimpressed, they're good but it's annoying how you can't solely dictate what you get in your box.

Stephen
13-01-2013, 08:54 PM
I always thought the point in them was to get something different every week

scottish
13-01-2013, 09:43 PM
YUM14 says wrong code for me? :P

I might sign up for the free box, when do they charge you out of interest.

Can't see me liking much from it so unless I got exactly what I wanted wouldn't be good, i'm very fussy and don't eat much :P

I signed up today and it said "We'll start making your box (which will be delivered on Wednesday 16th January) on Monday, so pick your favourites before then!"

Actually considering it, had a quick look through the food and I would probably only like about 10% of the stuff on there :(

oh no!

You've binned most of our range now!

graze is all about variety, so we'll never send more than one of the same mix in each box. This means, based on your current ratings, we might not be able to select enough goodies for your next delivery.

damn...

---------- Post added 13-01-2013 at 10:16 PM ----------

mine arrived today

olives are quite nice, cheesy sombreros are vile and i havent opened the popcorn or toffee apple stuff yet (but how is it possible to mess that up?)

Adam
16-01-2013, 02:27 PM
Overpriced.

Get a banana and dry it yourself. Same with any fruit. Nuts cost nothing.

I've tried them but not worth it, not even at half price.

lawrawrrr
16-01-2013, 02:28 PM
can't be overpriced if it's free ;) i'd never pay for it!!

GoldenMerc
16-01-2013, 02:32 PM
I used to pay for it, but looking through their menu, theres like 10 things I like lol...

Adam
16-01-2013, 02:32 PM
Obviously when it's not free.

A banana costs like 20p and has more nutrition than most of the stuff on there.

scottish
16-01-2013, 02:34 PM
having varied snacks beats a banana every time

main point is vary..

and bananas are disgusting so not everyone likes them obviously.

Adam
16-01-2013, 02:36 PM
Get an apple for 30p then. Throw in an orange for 25p and you got yourself a fruit salad for 3 days for 75p. Beats £3 and it's fresh produce not dried.

scottish
16-01-2013, 02:39 PM
and you get some fruit

well done, what about the other 100 items it has to offer.

lawrawrrr
16-01-2013, 02:41 PM
and you have to pay to get to the supermarket and put in the effort to make it

there's things which you cant get, like toffee sauce for apples

and dried fruits where you dont have to buy a MASSIVE bag

Adam
16-01-2013, 02:42 PM
like what? the stuff that everyone bins because it's disgusting.

case in point, for what you get, it's expensive.

buy some nuts, 50p. olive bread loaf, £1.

if you didn't get free or half price boxes non of you would regularly purchase these. expensive non-essential in today's world.

you can dry your own fruit, isn't hard. and effort to get some fruit? pretty sure unless you live the the mountains you can get fruit locally.

lawrawrrr
16-01-2013, 02:46 PM
costs me at least two quid to get to and from the supermarket

there are things on there which you can't get in supermarkets and not everyone bins everything.... it's convenient, healthy snacks which is what society goes crazy over these days

scottish

just because one person doesn't like it doesn't mean everyone doesn't.

It's successful so obviously most people are liking their recipes...

they do all sorts more than nuts, olive bread loaf and dried fruits.

Adam
16-01-2013, 02:49 PM
correct but i think you're generalising.

pretty sure most households cannot afford these. it's a luxury.

i agree it's nice to try new things and there are some nice things on there you cannot get cheaply or easily but still...

the idea is to eat healthy then there's a lot you can get for a lot less money.

also: didn't say I didn't like it, if you read my posts you would know I am an ex-customer. it's the price.

I tried these out years ago, they are nice :D I buy most stuff in supermarkets now though or the local market is really good and cheap and has a wide range of produce :)
