i want to lose weight quickly and want to get rid of my extra belly fat in 3 weeks.
starting tomorrow im planning on only drinking water (gonna try to drink 2l a day) and eating twice a day, as well as doing 10 -15 'side planks' (10 - 15 on each side).
I was just wondering if anyone has tried any slimming pills which were affordable and actually helped?
I want to lose about 8lb in 3 weeks.

this is not good dietary advice, but when I go to festivals I don't eat for 5ish days.
Come back and have at least lost a stone.
8lb in 3 weeks is very do able through eating much less, drinking lots of water + 40-ish stomach crunches every morning.
and if you've got the time just go walking or running for abit, daydream or listening to music or whatever - you don't notice as much.

Glen Coco; slimming pills? please tell me you're joking. for one are they even legal? i'm sure you have to buy them online which means you never really know what you're swallowing, i'm pretty sure a lot of them have been known to have speed in too because it stops you feeling hungry. but seriously, these so called slimming pills... you'd be an idiot to believe they work because they don't (not to mention the side effects and god knows what damage to your health). there's no fast and easy way to lose weight, you just have to work hard and reap the rewards.

The only experiences I've had with diet pills have had fairly disastrous side-effects. Not gonna name the ones I had because I don't want to encourage taking them in any way, but suffice to say they worked to an extent while also giving me crippling insomnia (literally NO sleep not just staying up late which some people seem to think constitutes insomnia) and a whole load of joint/muscle pain which actually made me too weak to exercise some days, completely nullifying the point of the "diet"
I really do think that weightloss is something you can't cheat unless you're mega rich and get laser lipo

of course they're legal. i wouldn't be going for black market ones, simple over the counter.
but doing some research i've come to a conclusion that they're bollocks, pretty much.
anyone know any good exercises then? i can't afford to go to the gym :(

Go walking, running, cycling or swimming. All pretty much free or extremely cheap.

Do not take slimming pills, they are so bad for your body and cause problems. Eating your three meals a day is key as starving yourself just makes you hold onto what you have rather than lose it. You should burn calories naturally by doing exercise as others have suggested.
Fartlek training really works for me and since starting a couple weeks ago my weight losses have increased. As well as swimming and even just going for a walk a couple times a day to get your body moving. I do like the xbox kinect it has to be said.
I find when I treat myself to little things like a couple mikado or tea biscuits i do better to strangely. It's all about switching for the healthier option instead of white bread, have wholemeal/wholewheat, same with rice and pasta. You can enjoy carbs! They are healthy for you! You should also cut the fat of your meat and have extra lean mince meat if you have that.
There is no quick-fix in regards to losing weight. You have to do it for yourself no matter how long it takes.

Isn't slimming pills just speed, stops you eating, Keeps you awake longer (they think to allow you to exercise more)

Do you have a Wii? Could exercise with that, Wii fit, dancing games etc. slimming pills sometimes work but usually if you stop using them the weight goes and comes back on.

I've started walking to and from school now instead of driving, so i'm not walking 2.2 miles each day. are there any excercises which you recommend?

my wii is in the garage somewhere and i'm guessing broken :( i used to use it a lot. I have the kinect but my front room is way too small to do anything with it!

I hate to say it but this is really not good for anyone to do ever. Vomiting is your body ridding itself of everything because it's sensing something really bad so to make yourself vomit on purpose is never a good idea. Plus it's a slippery slope, bulimia and anorexia are often related and most people with either or both of these find it very difficult to recover. Please don't.
