Just wondered if anyone is watching this. Haven't read much about it so not sure what it's fully about. From what I've heard a group of forum users come across a rare script and then for some reason due to this are hunted down by a mysterious organisation.
It does look interesting so I'm going to watch a few episodes and see how it turns out. Is anyone else planning to?

Thought I'd add it was really good. A little confusing right now as we don't really know a lot but its shot great, acted well and the main characters seem both likeable and realistic. Definitely going to watch this through to the end especially considering its apparently going to get even darker.

I thought the first episode was great and I'm fully planning on watching the other 5 episodes, Channel 4 always seem to hit the spot with their dramas. If anyone hasn't seen it, just give the first episode a chance, it's great!
I don't watch Utopia but I just caught the first scene of it today and I was really surprised. I honestly didn't expect to see anything like that on a TV show, I wouldn't be surprised if that causes some stir tomorrow, considering that there's been school shootings recently.
I do realise things like this happen but I just find it a little weird to see that on TV. Hmm, brave.
I think it's fabulous
I've watched the last two episodes and although it's complex, it's relatively easy to follow. Sometimes the violence is a little too much for me but I think it makes the program work. It really is shot beautifully and is worth watching just for that. The characters are super interesting etc

I might start watching it - I do need something to watch so this might have to be it.

I've only watched the first episode and it was great, I don't mind the violence either :P Need to catch up on episodes 2 and 3 on 4OD :)

Loved last night's episode - interesting concept, won't spoil it on here. Interesting to see the other side of Arby to.
ARGH I love it
So excited for next weeks ending.
I could do with one more series, but hope it doesn't go on forever

Everyone should ring the free number in this picture - A little nice and somewhat spooky Easter Egg

Just rang it, haha that's fantastic.
Final tonight! I'm super excited, wonder if it's gonna completely twist or just pull everything we know together.

Really enjoyed tonight's episode. Really have enjoyed the character Dugdale, not sure if anyone else has. The ending was a bit of a shock and I wonder if this means a second series, they are putting series 1 on the DVD but then again I've seen other 1 series shows doing this occasionally.

Why not? If you've made it through the series thought you'd have wanted to see how it ends.

Taken from an article at Den Of Geek
Utopia director Mark Munden confirmed that Dennis Kelly is already in the process of sketching out series two, should Channel Four grant one.

My expectations were super high for last nights episode, and for me it punched just a little bit too low. Some of the acting in this series has been phenomenal, but I don't think Jessica Hyde or Milner have been that great, so the big finale scene between them didn't really do it for me. Jessica was great at doing the loner thing at first, but as her character adapted to being around people, I feel as if the acting became weaker.
I always knew there was something off about Milner - the whole visit to her house to see her child was not right, but it definitely clicked when she turned up at the warehouse. Something wasn't right.
Also with Wilson - I was never convinced that he thought what the network was doing was right. We never had an impassioned speech, it was all "well you know guys, its not that bad an idea, you know, it might work". There was no conviction resulting from that very convincing speech the head of corvatt gave.
Also, Ian?! Its like he didn't exist before. We saw his brother get him out of prision, and then no mention of his life since. Also he only joined the chatroom the day before, said he was in it for the art, then never referred to the art again?
I was really happy that Alice was resolved fairly fully - however gaining any sort of paper work is gonna be a proper nightmare.
Hypothetically speaking, if there's another series (which I hope there is), what do you guys think will happen? Do you think Wilson's dead? Do you think Becky faked that fit? Do you think the remnants of The Network will be after them? What about Grant, will he be able to go back ginger soon? What do you think happened to that ******* pervy doctor? Do you think Jessica has any other psycho siblings? Who could be Jessica's mother (MILNER?!?!? :O)?
Over all I found Utopia absolutely brilliant, and beautifully shot. It was engaging and subtle and humorous without forfeiting plot, and I'd love another series.

We never saw Arby die to and if you listen at the end of the credits he says something - the gas is still on or something can't remember exactly. There's a lot wondering if Milner is Arby and Jessica's mother.
I'm not sure what to expect if they do another series. There's still a few questions but if the plan is still the same, sterilization, I wonder how they will plan to do it in the series without being too repetitive. Although it does beg the question was that the actual plan? I do believe it was but imagine if not only was the manuscript unimportant but the actual plan was something completely different.

I know this is a bit of a bump but it looks like Utopia - Series 2 started last night on Channel 4. I haven't watched it myself yet but I remembered a couple of people from here watched the first series.

Just finished the first season, absolutely brilliant. The way it's shot is fantastic, from the scenery to the colours and with great acting too. Can't wait to start season 2 tomorrow!

A lot of people didn't care for it compared to the first but I think its one of the best series right now. It looks great, acted great, I love the fact it tries to stand on it's own two feet and characters feel very real take Wilson Wilson, in an American series he'd be the guy who'd take revenge on his parents but in this he believes the cause so much that he's willing to join.
I'm looking forward to series 3 which I hope gets re-commissioned

I hope they wrap it up next season rather than drag it on for a fourth. There's only so many times they can tell the same story. Willis is such a strange character, his story arc is really interesting.

A lot of people don't like the fact that the network is still going but the reality is just because the main boss is dead doesn't mean they would have to stop considering their believes and what they have their hands on
I actually prefer watching the live feeds on utopia.tv more than watching the show it's self. Also the site keeps highlights, so it's fine. Obviously the show is new and the Live feeds are not quite as good as they should be - Ex: They cannot keep focus on people ( Some of the cameras just are staring at nothing), The cameras are dark at night, they don't have enough cameras... etc..
The show is created by Jon De Mol, the same creator of Big Brother, so the show is obviously a success...

It's a shame as they had a story to tell and had another 2 series. I wonder if they could take it somewhere else?
