Im not an active user in here, but just wondering :p
Remember when habbo hit 100M registered players?
and the 100M recieved ton of stuff and even a macbook air.
I still believe it was really stupid to give credits, HC, rares and a MacBook Air to a newb to created an account.
We make the community, we played the game, we payed for coins and when a newb joins becoming the 100M user they give him all kind of stuff?? Sounds unfair to me

They do this all the time, like when @GazGShore hit 1m he gave something away, annoys me when they do that, the people who were their from the start should be rewarded

Never knew they did this, it's a shame they haven't done anything like it for a while.

Loads of companies do it. I'm sure iTunes does something similiar with every milestone they reach.
remember when Kardan; won that iceland trip in the dark is rising comp. so jealous!!!...ow8
yeah it does seem a little silly to give the prize to a newly created user that's unlikely to stay for very long. Other sites/games tend to reward their existing userbase more though

i remember this! i remember them getting like 1000c as well, which at the time i was probably like 'OMG I COULD BUY EVERYTHING', peasant change now pfft.
I remember when Habbo got their first millionth member in Sweden. The winner "minus.plus" won a mobile,
an engraved Habbo trophy (not available on Habbo yet), 10 000 coins and a partyroom. That was actually quite unfair! :z
Oh, I forgot: he got a VIPbadge (he still has it).

Who was the 100M user? Would be interesting to see if they still play or if they got bored really early on and quit.

You guys are making it sound like you couldn't create the 100 millionth Habbo account... Everyone had the chance...

These schemes never make sense. Older members deserve some sort of recognition for simply being loyal to the brand. Such reward schemes should of died out in the 00s - oh wait, they mostly have but Habbo is 10 years behind -.- Giving physical rewards is a bit strange, and telling people that they may win prizes when certain stages are passed sort of defeats the point! Active members is better than registered members :P
