The competition to design the new forum userbars has now closed and we have just 6 userbar sets for you to choose from. The winning userbar set will permanently replace the current userbars throughout the forum so vote wisely!

If one of our current design wins the poll then the prizes will be the following:

Was kind of getting used to the new ones, but voted for number 6, purely because I liked the shape and they're not so bright I guess so don't stick out as much and I had just gotten used to them really. The other designs are fab though so well done to everyone who made them! :) Just personally for me the old ones weren't quite stale enough for a change yet. :P

I think David's idea is really nice, and have voted for that. It's like the new ones we had but without so much colour which I think is great :D. I like Laura's circle idea, but because most people tend to have only 1 userbars. I think it could look a little out of place, and without text it might be confusing as to what's what :(. But they're all nice though :)!

Good bunch of designs there, I know mine are quite different but I've tested them out under usernames and it means people can have more than 1 for each role they hold :)

Since forever. The ID of the group is 174 and there is no forum group unless you are talking about: Forum Moderators, Super Moderators, Forum Admins. (They are seperate)

if i remember correctly, being in a specific department usergroup as well as having vip/donator messes up perms, so everyone pretty much gets shoved in "habbox staff" and gets access masks to the correct forum

I looked around and people with just Habbox Staff Green usernames don't have a unique userbar, just 'Habbox Staff'. So each department doesn't get it's own userbar. Chris lies.

All staff usergroups have their own userbar. The reason you aren't seeing this is because the users you looked at have the Habbox Staff usergroup as their display group. If their department group was their display group then you would see that department userbar.

Thing is though, if you change your vote to Laura's just because they have unique ones for each usergroup, so does option 6. But the way the forum is (for some reason) we wouldn't see the unique ones on either option.

It can easily be done in term of making them less Rare - Just have to get Myke to change the way he does permissions. Although it would mean that only one specific rank would be shown due to the size of the images.

If I were to choose based on design quality, I'd choose 3, 5 or 6

3 looks nice, but too "icey"
5 looks awesome but there's something that doesn't fit... maybe is the poor contrast between background and text.
6 looks so clean and minimal but I feel like this design can't fit the current forum layout.
The rest are kinda cheap tbh

But even saying so, I preferr number 6 ^.^

I don't think you quite understand, it's only a tie because someone cheated by using another account they own. So their vote is invalid and therefore that makes David's userbar win the poll.

That's what happened with Doughnut; & :Cerys; and management didn't seem too bothered in the repercussions on Cerys so I don't see how the circumstances are any different. Rules are rules!

A lot of the time they get contacted it about and then they have a decision of which account they would like to "keep" pretty much. Although circumstances could also make it into an instant ban - Depending on the scenario.

Well, in this scenario, to have another account created to alter a vote in a poll, does that not count as an instant ban? I mean, a regular user wouldn't really want to move to a new account they created just for the sake of a poll, would they?

You're only confirming it to me who the person is :P I can see why you're needing to ask the person which account they want, but the one they voted on for a second time has been abandoned for a few years... So it's pretty obvious :P

To be fair, the whole thing was a bit messed up from the start; like Will and Kardan have said, full information wasn't given about the different options, bullying/encouraging illegitimate votes was positively encouraged, there was bias (yeah I agree I played my part in that, seeing them on a skin like me and Dave showed is going to sway more votes) etc.

When I was first designing mine I asked Matt and Chris if they were viable and they said yeah, a lot of people who have posted in this thread have said they didn't vote mine because they wouldn't be possible to put on the forum (not that I'm saying I would have won otherwise, not at all).

As for the cheater, that's pretty pathetic, although it's annoying me I can't figure out who it is.
