I was thinking about just buying photoshop cs6 as I can never get a good download 8-) Its £190 for the student version. Has anyone got the student version and is it the same as the full version? If it is is it valid for a lifetime or just a certain amount of time?

I have the student version and it does everything the full version does. It does last for a lifetime.

I have got the full version and I am sure the student version you get the same features.

There's nothing different with the Student version except I believe you can't upgrade to any newer versions and you're forbidden to use it for commercial work to earn you money.

I think it's two years. It took me about two years to go from CS5 to CS6 on the student version.

yeah apparently the only difference is the license itself, you get the full program but are limited to what calvin said, i also read that you can actually upgrade but only to the extended version
