Hi. This is just a kinda pointless thread to show you MODs actually occasionally come in a guest room, with good reason of course.

Once in a casino one of my "friends"! begged me for a GB. When I refused, he made over 150 scam rooms.
Turns out scam rooms are classed as bullying and can be closed.

I sent this through CFH "Can you please close all of these scam rooms rather than just 1?
http://www.habbo.com/home/DELETED has over 100 just bullying me!"

And a few seconds later (very fast actually!) MOD-Rituc turned up. The MODs don't speak. They just alert you saying the room is about to be closed then kick you. I managed to look at the groups. Turns out lots of MODs are part of a group with a few other Habbos who I assume to be management staff.

MODs have always entered guest rooms from the beginning of time... It's a shame they can't speak anymore...

Always thought MODs were banned from guest rooms without good reason! The group still seems pretty weird though. Does anyone know if the users without the MOD- prefix are management staff?

I never thought this was the case, since they wouldn't be able to do their job to the best of their ability. Can't help you with the staff I'm afraid, haven't got a clue who runs it anymore...

Yeah they sometimes come in rooms when someones been reported, we got one to wave and blow kisses before muting someone in the room.

they usually respond to you at their best via signs and actions.

The group was called "The bing bang unmuted" which they made after the Great Unmute, although the name seems to have been filtered. And according to http://puhekupla.com/en/staff the users in the group without MOD- are customer service staff.

I remember when I discovered a glitch that would make bots bodiless (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=764446&p=7756707), which seemed to attract a lot of attention not just from users, but also from the likes of MOD-yksaw, MOD-Jmopmo, MOD-Jumoridet and MOD-Asnial, who were just standing in the middle of my room watching it :P

MOD-Stum and MOD-Choremet sometimes visit my room too, shame they can't talk :/

The screenshots of the MODs in my room are on my other hard drive, so this is one of when Stum came to my Christmas room xD

LOL Mod-stum is awesome. See him around sometimes.

I remember when mods could talk, i guess maybe it has to do with safety preventions and stuff. Not sure.

It's probably just efficiency. They want MODs to stay focused, not waste time talking to people.

MODs may not be able to talk, but they can still edit their mission! I seem to remember one of the MODs had as their mission a while ago "need red key" while doing the Christmas mystery box quest! LMAO

Have we actually heard from an official source that they can't speak?

It's pretty cool, there seems to be a lot more active mods these days. Even if they don't talk, they do their job, so can't complaing. After all, if you're an adult at a paying job, would you want to sit on a website all day and talk to children? Especially after the C4 scandal it's probably for the best, just in case, that the interaction between adults and children is limited.

Makes sense :)
