Domain name + hosting - Cheap?

Anyone know of any domain name + hosting companies that are reletively cheap and reliable?

I just want to create my portfolio website if I find a reasonable provider.

Not personally but I've always heard good things about them. Recursion; used to (or still does) work for them so they can't be that bad! :P

Simplex Webs is very good and very reliable from experience. I had a couple of minor issues with domains a couple of years back, but I can't say that's still an issue and the service has improved lots since.
