My reaction: **** me. I do wonder how many people would actually fill 128GB on an iPad or even a tablet like that itself. It's not like it's a full blown operating system in terms of say Windows where you would have large files, programs and stuff. I wonder how many sales this will get hm.

I think with the next generation iPad they may drop the 16GB option so it'll be just 32/64/128, and at the price of 16/32/64. Then they might do that with the iPhone as well. I hope so anyway because 16GB is never enough for me :P.

and
16GB --> 32GB will cost you $100 for 16GB more
64GB --> 128GB will cost you $100 for 64GB more
:P.

Well, if you're going on holiday and want loads of films.. I guess that's doable.

Who the **** needs 128 GB. That is just outrageous and tbh unneeded. Apple should focus on more important thinks like the screen resoultion of the iPad Mini :P. Cause tbh I don't think anyone needs 128 GB of storage.

Go on MacRumors and it seems like everyone's always saying that they want 128GB for their iPad or iPhone. I'm just hoping the storage options will be 32/64/128 at the current prices of 16/32/64 when they announce the next gen devices :D.

Well,
I used 64 GB on my iPad in a week, with music, all my school work and apps.

Good to finally see this as a storage option available. I know 128GB would be perfect for us, when we go on holiday we like to shove our entire Photo library on there etc etc, which we can't do on a tablet at the moment.

It's a good idea, with more and more people opting for tablets instead of laptops/desktops it's nice to have the option to have 128GB free space (or whatever it actually is, could be 102GB with all preinstalled stuff on :P)

It depends if you can justify the price. Most people are probably comfortable with 32GB, for casual browsing, app tapping and photo capturing.

Usually about 5GB taken off, so ~120GB :P.

Meh, not too bad I guess :P 5GB seems about right for the OS and the Apps :P The 64GB Microsoft Surface Pro only has about 23GB usable storage, but it is a full blown OS and computer in some respects. Still not acceptable though.

I don't think the whole 128GB will be used by most people, but some people love listening to music, watching movies etc. on the go so this would be ideal for them. The price tag is very high though, so I also wonder how many would actually get sold.

Yeah it's the most expensive iPad, but the cheapest storage option when looking at £perGB :P.

Maybe I'm just different but I have had my iPhone 5 for 2 months and only used 7.5 GB of 16 GB.

Make your own recovery, delete the recovery partition already on there. Oh and stick in an SD card or whatever cards they take and bam you have more space :P

With mine, my camera roll was around 15GB with over 10GB of it being videos - so I'm guessing you don't take many photos/videos :P.
