Need a domain name

I want to create a forum dedicated to ancient egypt.

I've thought up a few egyptian domain names but I want to see if you guys have any ideas? :)

ideas like
gizaplateau.co.uk
pyramidcomplex.com

and so on!

They have to be available though !

With the domains you have mentioned from first glance I really wouldn't have much of an idea on what the site would be about. Unless you're trying to appeal to people who understand and enjoy Ancient Egypt? I'll try and think of some names although I'm not the most creative person in the world :P

I did a whois at www.who.is it - you can type a domain/name etc and it will tell you other ones available. I found out www.eygptianhistory.co.uk is available which is pretty simple and says what it is on the tin.

I suggest pyramidcomplex.com is more suitable as it connects the pyramid and egypt together.Also it has the TLD .com which is universal.I found that the domain name is available and you can register the domain name with 9cubehosting.com (http://www.9cubehosting.com/) since they offer the domain name at low cost with a very good freebie package.

Thanks, it's really plain and basic. I've never really made a website before and non of the computer course I studied did web design. :( I wish I had more time to dedicate to it.. or some of my more advanced features would actually work! Trying to understand what the background PHP is even doing so that I can modify it is hard enough.

I'm not very good at designing either. I just take one step at a time... even if no one really uses it. Egyptian history is my passion and I will do my best to educate those people of the internet for free :)

The best way is to write original content and Google will crawl your site and people will come. Content = visitors. Best advice I can give you. Your domain name is stellar.
