If they did bring what back... the camera?... They are bringing it back - the images in the OP is the REAL new Habbo camera system... they uploaded it quite a while ago now... and Sulake have said the system is coming back various times.
If you mean the old photos - I don't think they will be coming back.
Sulake said they wouldn't be, they've also said a couple of times that they don't have them any more, which is a lie... they've also said that the images can't be converted to work on Flash... which is also a lie... xD
So yeah, I dunno why they're not bringing back the old photos (Unless it's because of the exploits and porn etc that was in quite a few photos)... but if this is the case, it's pointless removing the old photos since the new camera system is just as exploitable, if not MORE so, since we have more options this time.

Camera is not returning. Those images were added last year, if you look through mine or @Shorty posts you'll find evidence of it.

The plan with the camera was to have it run of a headless flash server that mimics that actions on a real hotel so that when a picture is taken they can do it using the headless server to ensure that there was no funny business, it was too resource intensive, camera isn't coming back.

The arrows are separate images placed ontop of the base image of the camera. This is so that they can be added as items that have interaction (eventListeners); as to programmatically indicate when a user clicks them.

That small icon is in the news article, here is the image where you can see it. Look under the credits and pixels; it's besides "Take a picture"

No but surely they look at things as they're being uploaded, so why would he go back a year ago (or whenever it was) and look at things uploaded to Habbo then and post about them :S. If it is all old then it'll probably be removed from there anyway.

The images of the camera are stored inside of the Habbo SWF. It is possible that those new images (picture of the "duckets" icon), are stored next to that of the Camera and he got over excited.

The only thing I remember about the camera was when my sister was playing Habbo and someone came into Vintus' Trade City and said "Say Cheese" as it disconnected you if someone used a camera in the room haha. I wonder how they're bringing it back, probably not to the nostalgic full potential though :P?

I remember discussing this possible method of patching photo-manipulation years ago with Matthew and possibly yourself(?) as well as a few others that were in the community at the time... we decided at the time that it'd be too resource-heavy for them ever to attempt... it's amusing to see they did attempt it after all! xD

I think they might still bring the camera back but old photos ARE gone for good now - we might get "film" in exchange for the "Photo" furniture but that's the most we can hope for... the original MUS Server is disconnected and the images will probably never again be viewed. T_T

But yeah, they could bring them back... they'd just have to make the film cost a large amount (To lower the amount being made) and have a new moderator tool that pops up with each new photo taken (The photo would currently be on a "pending" status) and allows the moderator to either "approve" it (Thus saving the photo and releasing it to the user) or "delete & ban" the user if it's inappropriate/manipulated?

I think this would work pretty well... the Habbo community shrinks every day and (To my understanding) two moderators are always online for each hour each hotel is open?
So staying on top of the photo creation should be pretty easy after the first few days of novelty wear off.

Old photos actually still exists, and Johno has wrote the code to port them over. They could theoretically come back. Don't hold out for it though.

Last year say Paul, the camera can't back in the hotels. I have with MrJames on habbotimes a news to this write, but this is even. xD. But other site as puhekupla, habbos, habbox has to this a news, too. The screenshots was design by norman(?). The problem was by paul, that this not on the very important list was. Other things was more priorety (is that word right?) than the camera. I hope, Markku bring the camera in the hotels. :3.
