20 Bets 20 Days

Hey, Me and a few friends are doing something similar to this betting challenge http://www.footballacca.co.uk/50-bets/ where you start off with £10 and each day roll it over and see how much you can make within 20 days. I've started today and have put my £10 on the Aresnal and Bayern Munich game (both teams to score) If I win, I'll have £16.50 to bet tomorrow. Is anyone else interested in taking part to see who can make the most?

I would as I like a good bet, but the whole 'having to put all your winnings' on the next bet puts me off. I'd rather take my £10 back after the first bet and then go on from there :P And if my bets actually worked and I got to a significant amount, I wouldn't do 20 days in a row. A month or two back, I turned £10 into £83 and stopped, I think that was after 4/5 bets.

I suppose you could cash out whenever you want, i'll be doing it for 20 days though but you don't necessarily have to. It's just a bit of fun to see how far anyone can get really.

Yeh it seems to be going alright so far.

I was going to bet on chelsea to win, but the odds for over 1.5 goals are only slightly worse than those given for chelsea to win, so I decided to go for over 1.5 goals instead, I think i would've got £25 back if I bet chelsea to win whereas I get £24 if there are 2 or more goals.

Bayern won 6-1 at the weekend and both teams are the top scorers in the Bundesliga. Seems like a fair bet, over 1.5 goals price was too low for me.

Benfica, Bayern, Celtic, Atletico and Chelsea all to win £2.50 returns just under £50 but not to sure as 4 of these teams are playing away from home so going to be tricky paticularly for Atletico Madrid

They do over and under 1.5 as you can't score 1.5 goals. Doing over and under 2 goals, means there's 3 options. Under 2 goals, over 2 goals and exactly 2 goals. So no, they are not the same.

I still dont understand that over 1.5 stuff... you cant score half a goal so why would you need the .5? Surely over 1 or over 2 would suffice. Someone explain it like they're telling a gambling addicted 4 year old. Kthnx.

Because there's ambiguity with over 1... Does that mean 1+ goals or just over 1? To stop people from getting confused, they use half numbers. It makes it a lot easier, especially since different websites and bookmakers can have different rules.
