Promotions vs. Events

Every time I have bought a promotion (about 3 times), they have brought NO ONE to my room. These only work if you have an already popular room or you buy a mass amount.

Events always worked for me and brought people to me room - nothing was wrong with them.

Maybe people simply don't want to come to your room now you don't get a badge :P

Promotions do not bring people to your room for a little amount of credits as they are listed in who has the most minutes, events however was listed as the most recently added was at the top and the others below that. Promotions however, do bring in many people if you can afford to be on the top.

I personally think Habbo should have promotions and events, but events would be free.

I think the problem is that we got so used to not having the Events feature, the tab on the Navigator wasn't there so many resorted to clicking Rooms like myself. Due to this, when Events or Promotions did return less people are using them as they can just search the room they want to find, things like shops, games etc. so there's really no point to buy them. Usually I only get people coming to my room when they've searched a key word like shop as they would rather in some cases go to the one with the least people in to be served quicker and to see if the owner is there. Another thing is the fact not many shop owners stay in their room for the Promotion, what should happen is that the Promotion should stop and start whenever you leave and enter the room.

It's such a big shame that room promotions don't attract visitors, some if not any.. It's just a way for Sulake to profit again by people 'buying' coins again to buy promotions or anything else. :P

bring back events, promotions are ridiculous and they suck. half the time the top promotions are the rooms that are popular anyway ._. sux

Promotions are useless and need to be removed and replaced back with events.

Events rly do need to come back, I dno if I would start merching again if they did, cause mute was the original reason I stopped along with event removal anyway, so maybe I would ;o promotions are pointless though and it would be lovely to have events back just to make b> item xc per sort of things again let alone host shops properly again ;o
