Apparently both Cook and Admiral were banned today along with a LOT of other big habbo's, does anyone know what for? I heard it was for dealing. This could possible ruin habbo if they plan to erase Arcades?
Thread moved by Nick (Forum Moderator): From 'Habbo News & Rumours' as it is more suited here.

It wouldn't ruin Habbo at all if they stopped Arcades. Sulake probably doesn't see much money from them anyway as most of the big ones/ big dealers are all linked with black markets.
But I don't think they are doing anything about it? If they were the arcades would be closed? I think they're smart enough to know banning a few people won't stop anything lol.

Well, I think it would. They would lose a substantial amount of people. Not all Casino's are associated with the black markets (I know some are). Fact is, no Arcades I know Myself and a lot of other people would not play habbo anymore.
Ye, I heard a alot of people have beeen getting banned for dealing at casinos. Im just praying that they perm admiral and cook + their safteys and storages :D Would be funny to see their reaction irl.

I can tell you that Sulake are very aware of the big users that sell credits on black markets, I can also tell you that whilst I had stronger communication with the staff there (prior to this January!), that they were not willing to ban any of those users, as they control the Habbo economy, certain items would cease to exist as they only belong in the hands of those users. They instead put more effort into targeting the buyers. Though I can't verify why they've now been banned, I can say that it's very plausible that whoever originally made the choice i'm talking about has been overruled.

For a while now I believe Habbo have been monitoring users who use blackmarkets, these two are probably users of that blackmarket and a regularly one at that. It seems the ban is most likely deserved for them both.

Privilege of confirming this was NOT the reason.
I believe they were one day bans, for giving out social networks. Cook is back on now :)

They were 1 day bans, but a perm ban will come lets be honest.
BossCook is online now and definitely isn't banned.

If they wanted to ban Cook, they could have by now - it is easy to link the two together - they haven't bothered though.

I think they will soon enough, specially with this staff interaction going on

If they really didn't want such items going 'cease to exist' - staff will probably just pick up the items, and sort something. If they're that interested in getting them banned and following their footsteps on the blackmarket.
