I really like this banner on the habbo homepage, Its different to any other fansite so far thats been on the habbo homepage.
Then when you load the hotel up you go to public rooms they have another one that looks really nice & other fansites need to design their own banner like this aswell & one that goes onto habbo public rooms on the hotel. But the badge even looks nice.

So far Puhekupla wins the fansite week for me but with a draw on the game with Habbox both are fun to play.

Yeah I managed to do it finally (luckily just about got the badge even though I lost :P) - the room looks great, just a shame they put walkthrough on and couldn't wire the one way gates :P.

So is this the same promotion thing as Habbox or something different? Because Puhekupla seem to be actually promoting their website, where as for Habbox it seemed like they just got picked as an event room, and it just happened to be associated with Habbox... I mean, Puhekupla did the smart thing of putting their name on the badge... Habbox should have done this (if it is indeed the same promotion...)

The original badge design for Habbox's badge did have the full name. Personally I think it's a bit tacky, isn't much of an advertisement if people aren't going to wear it because they're not really associated with Habbox (or Puhekupla in this case) so the name plastered over it puts them off whereas if you do see a badge you don't recognise you normally hover over it and see what it's for (which would advertise the site)/ask the person what it's for (which would advertise the site if they said where).

Not entirely sure how their room promotes their website. It doesn't appear at first glance like you actually need to use it to get the badge (a flaw that, I think, is going to be the case for a lot of fansites when Habbo are so insistent on keeping it on-client). I thought the maze was quite inventive in getting people to use Habbox (the telephrase room getting people tuned into HxL is probably the easiest example). The fansite spotlight thing is also a new thing so we'll be much better prepared for the next one.

Considering our group was new and was 200-300 members and getting into the high 4,000's - It was pretty good going. In regards of the whole "badge" issue - There will be more chances for Habbox and all the other fansites :P

I guess as we were the first fan site to be promoted we didn't want to push boundaries just in case we do something we shouldn't have been doing. I don't know, that's what I assume happened anyway. I have to say for a very last minute job Habbox did pretty well. We got the HabboxLive listeners up to the hundreds and the group jumped by thousands. As Mike said, we can now be more prepared for future promotions and know, really, more what we can and cannot do.

Although considering some of the General Managements posts, I'm thinking otherwise :(

I love it, it's a shame I can't win the badge. Puhekupla has always been pretty creative in designs. I'll never forget the April Fools joke that Habbo were adding Pyhekupla furniture, it's the only one I actually fell for, oh and the camera one.

The group gate was put in room 3 btw on like the second or third day? So that is why the numbers jumped up so much for the group. However we did try to advertise the site as much as possible by putting banners/wired messages, and the telephrase which made them tune in to get the answers. It's a shame about the badge, although with habbox on it might of put people off from wearing it anyway. I have an idea to get some further promotion for next time too :-)

The two owners in there were actually a bit rude. One of them kept telling people to shut up.. he could have just muted the room, which he did eventually. The other one called everyone stupid for moving to the other side of the game area while it was being set up, when it was not clear at all what was going on and definitely not their fault.
