The release of TashLoad is here!

What does TashLoad do?

It allows you to easily upload photos, audio and videos.

What is premium?

Premium allows you to upload video and audio, early BETA access and allows you to upload 30 images at a time.

Can I see the images I've uploaded?

Yes, on the basis you are registered. It's located in the 'MyFiles' section.


So for an opening debut we are giving 5 users premium. So, the first 5 registered will be allocated premium features.

That is the dumbest thing i have read the entire day. It's better than the generic image upload site names. Taking a site's name at face value is purely idiotic. Just cause FaceBook is called that doesn't mean that you'll literally find books with faces on their site. Or take Twitter for that matter, how does that name make any sense... You don't find bird songs on it "i feel so disappointed, total false advertisement" that's how smart you look right now.

Yes and they only focus on image uploads. Tashload also accepts other file types once you have premium, much like 2shared and rapidshare. Also imgur is not a file host it resembles more a social network as all the images are visible to the public.

Ok let me correct myself, yes it is a file host but my point is that with other image hosts the things you upload can't go viral on their site. From that point it's more like reddit or 9gag where people can vote on the content you post. Or an even better comparison would be with Instagram.

Okay here's my POV:

1. You don't need a "How does it work?" thing, it's file upload, it's pretty self intuitive.

2. Font is WAY too small, seriously what did you design this on? A 800x600 monitor? Change that.

3. Make your "Welcome to TashLoad" shorter, just the key points in big text. £5 one off fee is a huge thing and most users would miss that because your design is so crap. All you'd need is an icon saying "£5 unlimted video, image and audio files" (note I've included image even though that's free anyway, makes it look like they're getting more bang for their buck)

4. Change the colour scheme, the layout just has to cater for one thing, uploading. It's not a portfolio yet you've designed it like one lol.

5. http://www.tashload.com/faq.php check your hyperlink CSS is applied on all pages yeah? ;)

6. The "About" page is a wall of text, a wall of dark, unreadable and un-paragraphed text. Example of doing it right: http://blog.imageshack.com/about/

7. On the contact page, yeah you've got the unlimited thing I mentioned in page 3 BUT IT'S IN THE CONTACTS PAGE AND IT'S PROPER MINGIN LOOKING! Change it to be easier on the eye please :'(

8. The dropdown login thing is neat, but it's too fancy and takes a while to actually pop up? Check imageshack's login, that's nifty. Or think about a pop-up box when you click on it yeaaaah?

What I've got is an app which actually does the uploading for me, paid a tenner and it's all automated and best of all it's a one off fee. If they could provide something like this as well, they'd go farrrrr. CloudApp is a really good example of how successful that can be.

I like it. With whatever name you call your site there will always be someone who disagrees with it. The main things I look at is this site itself. does it reach the expectations? Yes it does what it says on the tin.

At the end of the day all you need is to upload your files and done.

Only one thing I would change at that is the font of some of the text
Reason - I am sitting 8 feet away from the screen so it is a bit hard to see, however maybe I'm wrong and its clear when you are closer I apologise.

As mentioned you need more information on your pricing. The only page that has the information to a new user is your contact page. There is text in the about section but its in-between loads of text - A simple thing like other upload sites have comparing the free and the unlimited on the homepage would be good. If I didn't view the contact page which a lot wouldn't I actually wouldn't know there was an unlimited package - also is it really unlimited because there's no such thing as unlimited space so what happens when you actually run out of space?

Also I'd like a few extra features - when uploading stuff additional options would be handy mainly such as email this to someone. Also I'd like a search option to find specific files, maybe being able to organise them by stuff such as date added, name etc. It would also be handy if you could rename the filename after uploading if you needed to and your delete button doesn't work for me - it should come up are you sure you want to delete this with the possibility of also deleting multiple items at once e.g. by ticking a boxes.

Oh and does the paid allow you to view all files and also view files by type e.g audio only?

When uploaded, You can tweet, fb few others afaik.

You can view all files by just being registered. But you can also view audio and video that you uploaded.

Content is very small right now, With the upgrades we are working on now including a windows program etc. Some things take priority. Thanks for your feedback

Currently we are undecided with space, We are possibly going to start working towards a system alike to Imgur. Although this isn't decided yet.

The problem is that page only works if your logged in. A lot of people will want to see all the information before they decide on registering so having something there for new users comparing the two packages would be helpful.

As to you changing the space details you might want to be careful. At the moment a user may believe he is getting unlimited and there is nothing to say otherwise but if you changed the packages and decided to put caps on those who paid before might get a bit angry.

Oh and for no me the delete part isn't working
