Old articles return?

Just posted on habbo blog about old articles coming back and got a reply with this:

old articles were a great way to unify the community and we want to being that back in some way or another.

I would consider it less likely now considering they've decided to but the 'top stories' news reel in-client instead of just on the homepage now.

The widget loading sign appears in the top right, but nothing seems to load for me - may just be my awful internet though.

I did always hate :news auto-popping up when kicked, was dreadful.

Yeah there's been a few comments from staff over the past few months that suggest it is making a return, it's just a matter of when :).

i asked the other day, powertoo said yes they are but in another way or something and the :news was ridiculous it was bulky and horrible and lagged client!!

a balance between info on the rolling banners on the homepage, the hotel view and articles would be best

Never liked the news popup when you were kicked from a room, you'd lag straight after for about 2 minutes.

I'd like to see articles return, but without that bloody pop-up. Maybe on the main loading page like a twitter update feed, something which can be disabled.
