For years they have refused to add them. However, if you contact staff and ask for a safety ban, it will be added.
Unfair because 1) not everyone has contact with staff and 2) whilst they are messing about with people who are incapable of securing their account my Help Tool ticket is as follows:

Not needed so much with the new safety lock anyway imo.

It's good they're adding them, however the method of obtaining them is stupid.
for everyone or a special few favourites? lmao

ooh, how long does it take to get unbanned tho

is it even necessary with the new safety settings?
This was always possible if you contacted staff and sometimes even possible via the help tool... Dunno why you're whining about a 14 day-old ticket, that seems normal to me.
You should be able to put a safety ban on your own acc... and then answer questions to get it unbanned.

Few favourites it would seem, RBI members especially as apparently they're more likely to be targets.

Nope!

Then I guess you've never had a job, if that is "normal".

i guess they're doing their best to make accounts as safe as possible but i really don't think this is necessary since we have safety locks now

meh, I don't think i'm one of their favourites

:S? It's very normal by the standards of habbo and tickets have averaged over that time amount in the last year or two at least. Obviously if your ticket is urgent they will reply as soon as they can but you're being quite unreasonable and appear to disregard the fact that they're poorly staffed and have a hefty backlog!

So meaning the licks will get the Safety bans or the entire community?..

My two most recent tickets were picked up, answered and subsequently resolved within the first 5 days of me creating them. These were September 2012 and January 2013. Maybe you don't use the .COM hotel, I am not sure on the response times for other hotels.

Perhaps you emailed with more pressing issues than the one you are currently having but some tickets of mine have gone unread for about the same amount of time and this was when they had a bigger dedicated team for the help tool. I'm not sure if they're even replying to *any* tickets at the moment, I guess it's not the biggest priority.

Their are only three bans in the whole entire leaked database with over 30,000 thousand bans with the word safety in. It is new and exclusive for those who are known to staff.

why do you have access to a leaked database? most people dont ask for 'safety' bans - they ask to be banned

I'm sorry but you saying you have a leaked database isn't very reassuring.

I was asked to send it to Sulake by an employee who was made redundant at the end of last year so they could see what exactly was taken when Zendesk was compromised.

Today, a well known Habbo was given a safety ban. I found it news worthy and subsequently posted on a Habbo related forum where some users believed this has always been the case. As a result of their thoughts and opinions I thought I would counter them with facts.

Didn't even know what a safety ban was until I just Googled it...
Don't really see the use tbh

that does not explain why you still have it in the first place. your reason for searching it is very poor, you deserve to be perm banned.

Wow waiting 14 days for a help request is terrible.
