How come this serious get together of all our politicians ends in a point scoring slagging match? It's alright for the wealthy gentlemen of the house, they're set for life, but what about the people that they're supposed to care about? They were all having a right old laugh in the house and ******** was at it's best.

It's amazing how pathetic this government is.

Anyway, here's the major points of the budget:

Income tax threshold to be £10,000 by next year
Beer duty cut by 1p a pint
Planned fuel duty rise scrapped
The first £2,000 to be taken off all employers' National Insurance bill
Chancellor George Osborne promises £3bn for infrastructure
Service personnel to be exempt from public sector 1% pay rise cap
Economic growth is forecast to be 0.6% this year
Public sector net debt will fall by 2017/18, the Office for Budget Responsibility forecasts
Bank of England to work to help UK's economic growth

Good for drink drivers, I guess.

This.

All of the figures on television, in the budget today and so on are all false - none of the official estimates include unfunded liabilities to government spending such as PFI schemes, pensions, off the books spending etc. I pay no attention to the budget, it's a grown up game of cups and ball.

The only thing you can be sure of is more inflation, more money printing by the BoE, more state spending, more debt, less growth and more tax.

Income tax threshold to be £10,000 by next year

Good move, happy for a couple of people I know who it will help.

Beer duty cut by 1p a pint

So every 350 beers or so that I buy, I'll get one free! Fantastic!! :/

Planned fuel duty rise scrapped

Another u-turn by the coalition.

The first £2,000 to be taken off all employers' National Insurance bill

Cannot really complain.

Chancellor George Osborne promises £3bn for infrastructure

SCRAP THE HS2 AND INSTALL FIBRE-OPTIC YOU BRAIN DEAD....

Service personnel to be exempt from public sector 1% pay rise cap

Put pay up by the rate of inflation. Nothing more, nothing less.

Economic growth is forecast to be 0.6% this year

At least there is SOME growth...

Public sector net debt will fall by 2017/18, the Office for Budget Responsibility forecasts

I bet we all feel so great about this one.

Bank of England to work to help UK's economic growth
