You can't just make it official and powertoo said they not getting re-opened for next 6 months & Why would anyone donate now? People may donate when the site opens all it says in your post is "Please donate we need cash to open the site" But i might donate when/if the site opens.

If you want to be official, you wouldn't be so cocky. Also you have not given us any information apart from your going to be offical and that you want donations, which won't happen because the information you supplied is useless and makes your fansite look bookish.

So... What is it?
Don't ask for donations, don't run something you can't afford.

Isn't it against the habbo way for habbo endorsed websites to ask for profit donations? Also i don't think your temporary logo fits the website, it's grey and too bold. You definitely need something to brighten up the dull colours!

Why should people donate to a site that is inactive? Also why do we need MORE fansites? Why would we donate to more fansites?
We already have many official fansites, we don't need more! #SorryNotSorry

It will be officially open around may I think and at the moment they are not having any trouble hiring staff.

I now think that fansites arent made for the community they bring, like they used to be. Its now the popularity management get from it and the money they get from poor 11 year old sods that have to donate to get a management position. As Chug!; said, there is no need for more fansites.. sorry to crap on your bonfire but none of these new fansites will get anywhere as near as popular as Habbox, HFFM and ThisHabbo, so there is no real point. why don't you be a bit more original with your ideas, and try and come up with something original? :P

OMG. THIS SITE IS GOING TO BE SO SUCCESSFUL. NOT.

Maybe you should try and get a proper fansite with a suitable amount of people and actually prove your site is going somewhere before you start asking for money. No one will give you anything if you haven't proved what you are and what you are going to do!

I know this is an old post but there's an important saying that I always use regarding this kind of thing - put your money where your mouth is.

If you want to run a website then fine, but a good website needs a good designer a good coder, decent hosting etc. A lot think they can just get money from others to do this but if the owners aren't willing to fund it why should we?

Thanks for the "don't open a fansite" comments... I don't care what people think, this was a bad post, me as the Owner had nothing to do with it, we have the money to open one and it will be successful. We are doing so well at the moment, I don't need snobby comments saying it won't be official it’s so bleh, all these comments about my fansite are not needed! If you hate new fansites don't visit them no questions ask, and if you think ThisHabbo and HFFM and Habbox are going to be open for the rest of Habbos life time... they won't every fansite has there shine. Why isn't anyone giving my site the chance to shine, as of Habbox, ThisHabbo, and HFFM. We all start somewhere, I know many new sites open, never become successful, owners give up.. and never gets anywhere I've been working with fansites since i started playing Habbo. ViewHabbo is different, so please do not judge until we open with our amazing Version 1 and events, than I don't care what you say about it! We aren't even open yet, you haven't given me the chance to show you what ViewHabbo truly is! I know people you work at a fansite you think it’s the best, every time there’s a new fansite post everyone just says close the fansite and not to bother even opening it!

Kind Regards,

Firstly, I understand all of your points above however I have a few bones to pick and some comments:

Welcome to ViewHabbo, we're an International Habbo Fansite owned by Gumy15 and twiiggz089 from Habbo.com. Here at ViewHabbo, we feel it is our sole duty to entertain you users at home. This is helped to achieve by our radio, news articles, guides and more of which are ran by our dedicated, and experienced, team of staff.
This is good, simple but effective introduction.

ViewHabbo is soon to be an Official Fansite on Habbo.com, we are opening on May 5th 2013. ViewHabbo has lots to offer you, such as a popular online radio enjoyed by many. Here at ViewHabbo we feel we are obliged to bring you daily events, cool content and the latest Habbo Gossip from around the globe, so that is just what we'll do!
How can you say it is going to be an official fansite? You can say that you aim for it to become one, not that you will be 'soon', it implies that as soon as you open it will be official.
You say your radio is enjoyed by many? Why? I've been on many times and it's on 0 listeners... ALL the time.

Listen, all for people trying to open new fansites etc... However you have a lot of work to do to compete with the likes of Habbox/HFFM etc...

Good luck though.

Thanks Demi,

You do make a strong point, i never meant to attend that we'd be official right away, or if we ever would be official. Also though, our radio right now on the site is to test new DJs to see how well they can DJ, and also to train them. So im sorry that the radio isn't on ever, with loads of listeners, but i can assure you that the radio will be on a lot once we are fully open! I do strive to make ViewHabbo successful, i think we have a pretty strong Management team. Its not like I've been planning to open ViewHabbo this Month like most people would do, I've been planning to open on May 5th since January!

I agree with some of your stuff but when you say you don't care what people think - really you should. Obviously I understand not liking people who don't give sites a chance, but at the end of the day when people post on here your going to get that as its opinion based. I think however most of the negativity was based on the original poster who I hope you've had stern words with if he works for you.

I will always check new sites out as I understand its tricky to get them up and running, been there myself.

They're not 'snobby comments' it's called feedback and you need to be able to take onboard negative criticisms, especially if you want to become successful. You have A LOT to learn.

Catchy, actually they were snobby comments, and i know it was feedback, but the site never needed feed back nor was it asking for feed back in the original post. Firstly respect would be nice, saying "You have A LOT to learn" yes you're right i have lots to learn, i know a lot, but not every fansite owner knows everything! We aint all perfect, so that was clearly not need!

The original poster whoever he may be posted asking for people to donate to an upcoming unopened fan site. Obviously people are going to pick on that. The internet is for opinions and while some might be nasty, some might be important. You might think you don't need feedback until someone points a flaw in your site with the intention to help it.

He doesn't work for ViewHabbo anymore. He didn't ask our permission to even make a thread about donating. ViewHabbo doesn't twist your arm to donate it just ask if you want to donate just do so but you don't have to.

Again even the BBC ask for opinions on their site. I'm not for people saying sites will fail and not giving them a chance but to deny feedback is the greatest mistake. So read it. Remember something one person thinks might not actually be shared with everyone else.

How do you know it won`t go far? Is it because it will be a new fansite and has no chance? Well doesn`t mean its a new fansite that it won`t succeed! It will take time but it will eventually be popular like every other fansite :) Just takes patience!
