http://i50.tinypic.com/dp8zsp.png This comes up every time I load google chrome. I downloaded GIMP (a photo editing software) from the real site, and I mustn't have read the small print. I've tried going into settings> Make google default> Sync - but this doesnt work. Ive also tried removing and re-installing google chrome, but it keeps coming back. Also, I went into add/remove a programme, and removed the Yahoo Toolbar programme, and still, it keeps coming back. Help please?

You've probably got it set as your homepage, or one of them.. Check that out in settings.

Like I said, I've checked, and google is my homepage, yet this comes on instead of google?

chrome://addons
Check to see if you've got anything Yahoo related there. If you have, remove / disable it.

There is : Adobe Flash Player, Chrome Remote Desktop Viewer, Microsoft Office, Picasa, QuickTime Player, Native Client, Chrome PDF Viewer, Adobe Reader, Google Update, WildTangent Games App V2 Presence Detector, Windows Live Photo Gallery, iTunes Application Detector, Facebook Video Calling Plugin and silverlight. Nothing there to do with yahoo?

@Olbong Rerun the installer for GIMP and see if you can uninstall the yahoo toolbar? Or is it listed separately in your installed programs list?

Try http://www.freenew.net/windows/iobit-uninstaller-2-0/68873.htm downloading that and doing a search for yahoo in there, and make sure everything gets uninstalled.
Oh has someone basically already suggested that but with regscanner oops.

I think this had something to do with a programme called 'TidyNetwork.com' - I deleted it off my system, changed google to my homepage, and voila! It had gone! - I had a quick read about TidyNetwork.com after I saw it in 'Change or Remove Programs' - It is a virus which does stuff to your computer :(
