I think it keeps a lot of people interested in the game, well I know it does for me. I would not participate in events or play nearly as much if there wasn't a steady flow of badges being made available all the time and I feel like a lot of other people, mainly new generation habbos would feel the same.

It's not so much sentimental value anymore like it was 00-08ish and I don't see that as a problem. It's a collecting game more a less now, which I love :)

Selling badges is a great idea. I have many rare badges that I could probably fetch some high amounts for. Once this idea catches on (I give it a few days), I think the idea of selling badges will become a unique market in and of itself.

I actually want to start a collection of all the badges ever released in the hotel. It would be quite a challenging but fun goal.

No. That's a common misconception.

You are merely trading copies of your own badges. You can buy AS MANY cases of each badge as you want, they will not leave your inventory.

I hope to sell all of my badges for even MINIMAL profit before they get too common. I actually love these badge displays. It's a shame that some badges look horrible in them but for some, they are fab. Already sold 2 for 13c (A) Also I've spent 150c on the dot on badge displays :(

When you double click the badge display case, it tells you the name of the person who originally bought that case - just like a trophy. So he's saying that way we'll be able to see who's badge it really is :P.
