There is a poll in the welcome lounge for feedback on the Steampunk campaign.

Personally I think I expected a lot more from the campaign, I thought Habbo might do something different or exciting but it turned out like every other campaign, boring quests and a user voted room comp, so I was a bit let down.

I voted 1 for every rating, it was a terrible campaign and was a huge letdown and a disappointment

I voted 10.

Voted quite low for all of them. I wasn't expecting much, but it was certainly more than we got.

Voted 2. That room where you had to work out the puzzle was good but everything else was repetitive and boring.

I know i'm also being repetitive when I say this,
But I also voted 2. I expected much better. :¬:

You guys are kidding right? You moan for ages that you want staff led campaigns that feel like the old days. Something like this comes around and you do nothing but barrage it with slander and daft nonsense?
There was badges to be won, quests to be completed (with pretty fun problem solving puzzles), new furniture, new clothes, user led room building competition, revival of a nostalgic Habbo character. What more could you guys possibly want?!

I liked the competition but the quests were bad.
Also hated the fact the room competition you had to have the quests done to vote.
Would of preferred email your room and staff judge.
What??? Steampunk was good. It was different to what we had before and I enjoyed it. It wasn't the easiest of the quests and there was plenty of badges for us to be won.
Was the shark room / kick wars thing included on that? As much as that frustrated me, it was good as not everyone was able to get the badge as it was hard.
iBlueBox; surely that's better than anyone being able to vote? And we've had that in the past, I think it was the VIP beach / yacht party we needed to complete quests to get a badge so we could vote. I much preferred that as it eliminated clones. Even if it's not as good as staff voting (and let's face it, the same people always used to win rly) it's better than anyone being able to vote.

1. Let me just point out what the poll said: "Poll"
.."Now we would like to know your opinion about the Steampunk Campaign"
Just as you have your reasons, people have their reasons to dislike this campaign too. Your opinion was acknowledged so it gives you no right to bash other people. Honestly the only "moaner" here is you.
2. About the room building competition, I am pretty sure people were mostly upset about it for obvious reasons?? Plus it did not take much effort from the staff to hold the competition so I don't know what you're trying to imply there. Clothes and new furni does NOT necessarily mean a nice campaign.
3. THE CAMPAIGN WAS NOT STAFF LED WHATSOEVER.
4. I am pretty sure that I did not personally feel the 'nostalgic character'. This was a bad and a waste remake of an otherwise good campaign.

Not staff led? I think the fact that there was quests rooms, puzzles, badges, and clothes indicates that is was pretty staff led. What are you wanting them to do man? What more could these guys possible do to please you? Are you wanting them to hold your damn hand through-out the entire quest? Just yours? There's thousands of Habbos dude.
You say 'most people' were upset about it, but the only people you can verify that are upset about it are those that use this forum. There are thousands of other Habbos, Sulake would not keep running that sort of competition if people did not enter. People entering, means that they must at least enjoy it to some degree.

I agree it got rid of clones! But I did think that there were too many quests you had to do to be able to vote. I think the thing that annoyed some people was for example It's the third quest on the third day and you hadn't done the first you weren't able to do it after the original day.

If we consider your point then every campaign is staff led and should therefore be labelled as successful and a nice campaign overall?
Examples of the most recent good campaigns and why they were a success:
Valentines 2013: Staff participation, staff-held events, competitions, no-automated quests for once!
CNY 2012: Staff visits, competitions including badge designing, room designing and dragon dance videos
Habboween 2011: Maximum staff participation, competitions including room designing, badge designing, dressing up and room raids.
Notice how none of this was in the Donnie Santini campaign (Except the user-voted room competition of course)

Exactly, and we can see the overall response of people for this campaign only through this poll. And you are trying to ridicule and discourage those who were not fond of it?

Not at all, but all I see people on this forum in particular doing is moaning about everything that is done on the hotel. Either the badges are too shabby, or the competitions were not fun enough. I can't understand what more you guys want staff to do to make you happy. You guys as a forum, as a collective group always lean towards being disappointed.

Well I have to agree that people on this forum almost always dislike badge designs, sometimes calling them 'disgusting' and what not, I am mostly negative too but not always, I liked the Easter badge hunt, the Valentines campaign overall, the user-made wired mazes. I personally only expect this from a campaign:
1. Direct participation of staff
2. Competitions which are not popularity based
3. No automated quests, I just can't handle them. They are crap and such a waste and I don't know why they are still around
Abdicators seems to be gunning for brownie points from the staff that read this forum lol..
overall i liked it, didn't like the kick wars badges though because they were basically the same lol

I was impressed with the furniture designs, but that is about where it stopped for me. Overall there wasn't ENOUGH to do. The daily quests kept me intrigued for about 1 minute each day, the three Steampunk badges from those rooms took me about 5 minutes to get, and the room competition used that tired old voting system which favours popular rooms over worthy rooms. By Habbo's standards this campaign was average, by my standards it could have been improved in just about every way.
it was an improvement but it still wasnt good. the furni was decent and unique. the clothes was crap but any new clothes is good tbh. the quests were confusing and boring as usual. cant remember anything else cos it was that boring.

When I look back at it, I don't see anything special :S It was a new furni range and some more competitions.

You caught me, despite the fact that my character has not been logged in for several months now, I am hoping they will shower me in gifts.
Additionally, it could be that I work in an environment that similar to Habbo, has clients requesting, demanding changes and updates to a product, without understanding or attempting to envision the time it would take, or the constraints in place that would make it difficult to go-ahead with such a request. On that basis, it's infuriating to see that despite the effort Sulake has put into making you guys happy (staff active in the hotel, interactions with fansites, updates to the UI, implementation of requested features, new badges, new furniture, new clothes, more new badges, more quests, more competitions, more new badges, communication with users off-site (Twitter), implementation of user-created content to a wide audience (game of the week), more new badges), that you are still not in the slightest bit enthralled or happy with any of it. This forum in particular, is the worst audience of teenagers that I have ever seen use Habbo.
listen 2 me closely abdicators. u leave them alone b4 i am forced 2 report u
p.s. aint nobody got time for that essay so think again

weh then go cry somewhere else...
you work in something similar to habbo, not habbo so i doubt you have any real idea of the environment at sulake... and you cant really get an idea of it from talking to your staff friends.
they wouldn't put a poll out if they didn't want HONEST opinions. which you seem to have a problem with people giving. learn what an opinion is.
and you seem to be taking this awful personally as if people are some how criticizing your job... i pay for credits quite a lot, i am a customer.. are you telling me i don't have the right to critize a service i pay for? if so get real, it's noting to do with being "teenagers" its down to the fact that i like to have an opinion and want to see good things on the service i pay money to.
if you don't like people saying they don't like the campaigns (which they have every right too) click the log out button in the top corner...

Won't be giving this a positive note in the poll, didn't really enjoy the campaign (from what I was online for!).

I was really looking forward to this campaign. I was put off quickly by the impossible wired SOS game, boring quests, over priced furniture, and dull voting room competition where I simply purchased the three furniture pieces necessary to enter. I also didn't really care about them bringing back Donnie Santini most people didn't even know that there had been a campaign with him in before, lol. In the end it was a shame - there was so much more they could have done, but just didn't seem bothered.
The best campaign in my opinion since the merge of the English speaking hotels was Rule the School. Why you ask? There was teams you could join, daily quizzes, team hideout competition, video competition, team rallies with staff members, and most importantly everyone got involved and seemed to enjoy it.
