My Badge Display + Other Rooms [+61 rep]

So it's been a while since I posted on the forums, let alone in this section (years). But I've been making some rooms in my spare time and decided to try and enter the recent competition and would love if you would pop by and have a look. It's quite different from the others in that there isn't an over abundance of badges, and it's outdoors (as most of my rooms seem to be, speciality I guess). Tried to do something different to the other entrants though, I'll let you be the judge. Not sure how many days competitions last anymore, and I don't have the time to host events or giveaways because my university deadlines are approaching and I need to get cracking, but if you throw some votes my way I'll give you some rep in return. (:

It's Bongo, Neversoft is mearly a clone account, haha. I made Shenzou for the Room Builder's, but as far as I know it wasn't chosen. I converted The Shire into a kind of Valentine's celebration for the Valentine's events though, and that was used. Thank you so much! :D

That's me, haha! Even had to change my forum username to Bongo some years ago when I worked for Habbox. :P Thank you! I made that room before they released the perhaps more appropriate Easter door teleports, but I didn't fancy re-doing it. I quite like the tiki bars, too.

Hey Chris, great postings, also didn't realise you were Neversoft on here! I also like your book readers room, small but cosy. I've got one suggestion though, have you considered these Garden Teleports (http://habbox.com/#!/Rares/view/Garden+Teleport) for your Hobbitton doorways in The Shire?

I think you have some really great rooms there. With your badge room, I think it's nice as it's not the typical badge museum. I've voted for it btw. The Shire looks fab too, I think those new Easter teleporters would look great as doors though.

Oh I didn't know you were Bongo, seen you in RBI :)

I like the rooms but I think you have used the Seasons tree (or Gift tree whatever its called) a little too much. Maybe use Snowy pines, tall trees etc.

The Cafe is my favourite, it's really cute :)

Thank you so much everyone (: as for the garden teleports in The Shire, I have no doubt they would look better, but I made the room before they were released, and re-doing it would require adding a level since the doors are quite big compared to the hobbit huts I built, so it's a bit of a daunting task. But I do have enough teleports so no doubt I'll get around to it one day.

And as for the trees, I tend to use them a lot as they're of a similar scale. I do have a couple of tall trees, but I tend to use them in moderation, and I find snowy pines too small and obscure for what I want to do. Friendship trees and all the varieties of tree stool work really well together, and the different settings of the friendship tree give it an even more variety, throw in some orchid trees and tree of lost souls, then a few epic christmas trees, and perhaps some flowers and vines - I'd say that's more than enough variety. :P

Quite surprised The Shire is taking focus over Radagast! Usually it's the other way around. :P

Not gonna give individual room feedback, but an overall. Wow great designs from yourself, chose a nice range of furni to use and it all suits the room design and theme you're going for. Great job and best of luck in the badge competition. :)

Decided to change my badge room into a kind of teleporter junction (or -- you guessed it -- garden...) now, which links most of my rooms together. Nice idea of changing that room to link your others together. I really like the tree teleporter near that huge tree, it looks good. I think the small little candles are a little out of place really :P

Thank you both (: They're not small candles, but rather incense, which is typical of a shrine which is what I wanted that small section to be, as it's my favourite trophy. The room is a bit of a shamble compared to my others, with no real central theme, but that's how I wanted it really. It's just a fun room with some personal elements that links to my builds. (:
