So now you're just choosing to ignore me even though I've replied to every query you've had and given solutions to the non existent problems that you've highlighted. Either you accept them and continue as normal as everyone has done or throw all that work from the last map away and never come back. It really doesn't bother me either way.

There are very few members who have creative mode. AFAIK it's only the admins (with reason, ofc) and maybe 2 other people? Because they are HELPING us with our big structures. People ask daily for creative mode, but we never give it out. Don't make it out to be some elitist society, as donators or friendly helpers are the only ones with creative mode. Hell Intricat; wasn't even given creative when I first asked him to help me with spawn!!!

What gives someone the right to be consulted on a game they haven't played on for MONTHS on end?

I do agree with him about it being ridiculous with so many people with creative. The ratio of admins to normal players is pretty silly and makes it somewhat unfair for those without admin. I think it should've been kept to just xxMATTGxx; and adam with admin, realistically why do we need so many? just silly and unfair on those who have to play survival...

We have so many because I like at least one to be on at any one time. You weren't complaining earlier when you wanted day and sun constantly. Wouldn't happen if it was just me and Matt. The people who are admins are so because they were nice people, built well and I trust to be admins. Most of them have even donated to the running costs a few times too or have hosted servers in the past. Some people get special treatment on my server and that's just the way it is. Be cool and build well and you'll get the treatment too. I never said it was a democracy.

I for one am talking down to you because you aired opinions on things that you knew nothing of at the time and then when you realised you were wrong you just ignored us trying to reason with you. Read the thread back and see your comments spiral into crap because you realised that actually you don't have an argument. You've just highlighted the issue, no one was online. Map reset fixed it job done. It's a game not real life, but by the same logic, if you could build a house in a day do you really think that person would be bothered about taking their house in the first place?

Well only admins can make it day, and a lot of the time over the last few days me and Matt have been the active admins, making it day all the time for a certain someone (cough cough :Cerys; cough cough ;)) and no offence to Adam: we're the ones online a lot of the time (not afk I mean) - end of the day Adam has a job to do, which is his first priority. The other admins, well that's something only Adam can decide on really. Tom used to be on a lot helping people - hell he pretty much built my treehouse for me when I first joined (this is before I paid for donator or got given admin). And I NEVER said that I'm only on when Matt is, I said we're both on at the same time. Working on different projects, on different sides of the world. Yeah we help each other out (hello, have you seen the size of the buildings we're making - mine was on top priority too, being spawn and everything), but most of the time we're doing different things. And a lot of the time we go on when the other one is out/busy with other things.

Besides there's NEVER 1 user online and 6 admins. Most of the time there's 3 or 4 users and 1 or 2 admins (max. 3). So that argument is completely moot. If you only had 1 admin then they'd only be online for say, 2 hours a day. This way we've got most of the hours in the day covered!! I don't see how it's unfair at all mind you, seeing as we're hardly killing you all the time; we're HELPING you.

Pretty much just handing out admin to your friends etc so they have creative mode (that's the only possible explanation since laura's already stated that some admins don't want to deal with people but just want to build)

You have problems 24/7? I had no idea that you had issues arising with the server when nobody is online. I've been on many a time around 2-4am and nobody else is ever online at those times. This server is effectively exclusive to a UK playerbase, with possibly one odd exception from Australia or the USA. Are you suggesting that you need an admin on to babysit a single user?

Yeah i've had the game for like 3 months, and what? I played like 12 hours a day sometimes, and i actually talked to people regularly and tried to help at every point along the way; still do. That's why I was offered admin. And FYI, I PAID for creative mode. Donated to the running of the server. Nothing to do with being friends seeing as I'd never spoken to Adam before joining the server, in actual fact, I'd never really spoken to ANY of the players. So yeah. Kinda disproved your theory there..

Not particularly, the tools are an aid. All of the admins have at some point built a big creation or several good ones, hence part of the reason for being given admin.

It's not wiped though, it's still right there waiting for all your crap to be copied over but you refuse to do it because it'll hurt your pride because you initially complained about losing all that stuff which just isn't true.

The only person who I know who isn't an admin that can switch to creative is Kieran. Everyone else has normal permissions from what I am aware of. I don't really need to go into the reasons why I have admin as it seems most of you don't mind me having it but whatever.

No, there is no flaw, there will now only be two admins who help out the players, if we're not online then it's tough. When everyone gets peeved with not having anything done all the time then I'll reinstate the other admins.

Just want to point out something here -I have nothing to do with who has admin or not. So I could be friends with a lot of people and that doesn't mean they will get admin on the MC server if they decide to join.

At the end of the day, what, 10 people play on this server? And no more than about 5 people at a time. What's the problem with, for example, letting everybody be able to change the time of day? I highly doubt that's going to be something people are going to abuse.

Admins are friends because they've interacted with the server. They did not get admins because they're friends. The power is all mine because it's my server. I've never hidden this?

Look - I'm managing perfectly fine on survival. I gather my own stuff and it's easy. Yeah, I can't build large stuff that I'd build on creative but if I put my mind to it and set out to gather the stuff I needed, I'm sure I'd manage to build what ever the hell I wanted.

Not everyone wants it. No one has it right now. Even someone who would usually use creative has said they don't mind playing survival and is putting in the work.

How can I miss the point when you change it every other post? So you'd rather everyone was on survival... makes sense. When you get griefed I'm sure you'll be thrilled to know that noone can fix it and that the world will look rubbish because noone's entitled to creative mode (this is going on what you've said) :)

Never said there was anything wrong with it. And no I didn't try building there, I fell into the water but couldn't get out due to not having creative mode, and the ledge which was trapping me was build protected.

If I had announced it in some form then it would have taken ages for a definitive answer and it wouldn't have had any effect on my decision to change the map anyway. The map change has had the desired effect so was the correct decision. You are complaining without a right... I have offered you admin privileges to ensure your buildings are copied across correctly. You have no right to complain because I've offered you everything I possibly could. Hell, I'll even teleport you to the old world and leave you there if that's what you want.

It will happen again, when the amount of players dies down again. I can tell you that for certain because it's a cycle that we see all the time. Between the admins, we've had about 3 or 4 servers so we know what we're doing. But as with this map move, I will keep the old world and copy across any builds that people want and make the map available for download. It's not difficult.

Guess what, I did. It wasn't favouritism. It wasn't even a conundrum. I admined people who I thought deserved it. It's not more than half the community, stop spouting 'statistics' that you can't even back up. This is what I have so far. I wish to create a main building some what in the middle of the grounds while the walls already built protect it. If you get what I mean? I just don't know the best way to design it. If anyone has any suggestions or could help then that would be great.

Depends when you stopped playing. The server was reset about 2 weeks ago, new map and Tom started a new stadium from scratch - that's the finished product. I haven't been online recently but afaik it's just a building :p Should be used for tournaments tho imo ;)

You need to get more active staff and get rid of the inactive ones because if you want the server to get anywhere you'll need active members.

I am on everyday almost and I love the server, but it has hardly any staff.

I need some assistance on there If a staff member could come on.

But seriously you need some more staff.

AFAIK me and matt are nearly always on. I haven't had internet for the last week and we've both been away this weekend. Getting rid of admins is PURELY Adam's decision, but I definitely don't think we need MORE than there already is. There is usually at least one person online to help you!

At the moment anyway only Adam and Matt (thegarner) are allowed to help you - to prove a point to the people earlier in the thread who said none of us deserve our position as admin - and that we do need more than just those two.

If I'm online on the forum, or on Skype or MSN and you added me I'd be more than happy to log on if I wasn't on already. I do this on the other server I played on and I don't mind it - let me know if you want!

There's a release for bukkit, so I'll install that in the next few days and we'll be running the latest version of mc.

Updated this afternoon. You can now updated Minecraft to 1.4. It's a development release so there may be bugs, if there are please post them here. If there's any plugins that don't work or aren't working correctly then let me know too.

Just a notice: The private chests are not working and you can access everyone's chest.

Also If you're active on the server and play legit (By legit I mean survival no spawned in stuff etc..) and want a boost/extra items then drop me a PM with your IGN and we can arrange a time to meet on the server and I can give you some stuff as If I do start a series I'll be giving away/burning all my things and starting over.

I got some of my subscribers on the server but they decided to be pathetic and grief the troll face.

I got some of the wool and tried to fix it as best I could but I didn't have enough parts.

Sorry and I would like the people responsible banned, permanently.

Also do you have the /co inspect plugin? if not I suggest getting it. Easy to catch griefers and easy to rollback too!
