Quite possibly so but I wouldn't want to fly IRL coz then I'd get bored of FSX lol!

Don't worry, in a few years time you might say Microsoft did a good job with closing the Microsoft Flight department. If the super secret projects go well.

No it's nothing like that. I am not talking about a product Microsoft is making, I am suggesting Microsoft ditching the Flight Simulator altogether might have been a good thing 5 years down the line.

Hmmmm... They're catering towards gamers, not simulator enthusiasts.

You still don't understand. Microsoft Flight is a dead project, the studio behind it got closed down. Now a very well known developer in the FS community said: In five years time you might be able to say it was the best decision they have done.

Why did he say that? Because there is projects being worked on as replacement and updated simulators. Not created by Microsoft.
