We are Pixadom - a brand new online virtual world! Pixadom is a free 2D online pixel MMORPG where you can fight monsters, meet new people, chat and play games, explore the virtual Pixadom world, battle with other players, complete quests, earn XP, and more!

What makes Pixadom different?

Pixadom stands out from most other online games in a few ways. Firstly, we are bringing back the old-school 2D pixel art style and merging this with online multiplayer functionality. Secondly, our theme is unique - in Pixadom, you will be able to collect, train, and fight with your own virtual monsters. In conjunction with this, you will also be able to complete quests and earn XP, customize your own avatar, upgrade your weapons and armor, meet and chat with new people, and so much more!

We understand that many inspiring online games come through Habbox, and some don't actually come to fruition. Well, Pixadom is different! We are very close to releasing our first version, and to prove this, here are some teaser images:

As you can see, we already have quite a bit of content and we are in the finishing stages of development when it comes to our initial release.

Definitely! We will have all kinds of monsters, and each monster will have its own evolutionary stage(s). Additionally, and much like in Pokemon, there will be different types of monsters, with each type having its own strengths and weaknesses.

What we can see looks fantastic, can you say a rough date for Beta testing? I am also curious as to what the game is being coded in. Good luck in the future, such a great project!

Thank you for the positive comments. Unfortunately, we cannot give you an exact date at this time, but I can tell you that the initial version will be ready within the next couple of months. To answer your other question, the game is Flash based, so it's coded in ActionScript 3 and the server is coded in Java. It will be a browser game with the dimensions 900px x 760px, if that gives you any insight.
