I was bored and decided to search variations of my name on Habbo and found so many of the accounts that people had used to scam random users that would bet in my casino.
I'm quite fortunate that the most any of them ever scammed off a single user was a typo and I even recall one day where the same clone managed to scam 2 thrones and 1 typo from 3 seperate people in my casino. Remember to always watch carefully who it is that is offering you when you are giving something away with nothing in return, which is exactly what you are doing when betting.
If you deal in casinos you should try to register all of the other names that people generally create for the purpose of scamming those who intend to make a bet with you. If you are lost as to what I am talking about and want me to clarify it for you just ask.
Here are some of the variations people have made over time to resemble "TheUnspoken" it is recommended that you register these types of names I am about to list, although alot of people are too lazy or just couldn't care less.
1. TheUnspoken: - This is by far the most popular variation and most people never notice the " : " after the name in a trade window. The person that owns this account can scam alot of betters wagers and can have a success rate of passing themselves off as the original up to 90% of the time.
2. TheUnspoken.
3. TheUnspcken
4. ThoUnspoken
5. The.Unspoken
6. :TheUnspoken
7. TheUnspken
8. .TheUnspoken
9. ThaUnspoken
It's important to know that Hobba/Mod/Staff will not ban these accounts even though it's obvious they are used for scamming. If someone is using one of these accounts and frequently goes to your room they will successfully scam a good portion of people who were about to bet you. The users they scam will lose faith in you because BELIEVE ME most of the time they think that it was you that offered them. It doesn't matter how many times you tell that person they should've paid closer attention to the name because most of the time they will call you a scammer.
Keep that in mind and ALWAYS pay close attention to the name of the person in a trade window if you are betting. Hopefully people will one day realize that this is an ongoing problem for which we may never find a resolution.
