Music type of genre you HATE/DISLIKE?

What type of music do you completely hate, dislike or have complete utter disgust for, and why?

I pretty much listen to EVERY type of music. What I dislike the most is classical. I don't mind it if someone just plays it, I can put up with it but I wouldn't choose it. It's too boring for me, and it makes me feel too old.

(My view wasn't meant to offend anyone by the way, if you read it carefully.
But yeh it's just my view, we all have our own tastes.)

I would say i dnt like massive rock i mean serious rock liek teh murderdolls etc... all there lyrics is about slitting wrists etc...

Pretty much anything new annoys me. The emo thing, post-Tupac/NWA rap, the "punk" thing (seriously kids listen to Black Flag if you want to hear real punk), post 97 pop. Also a lot of the new "rock" bands such as Nickleback and Puddle of Mudd, can't stand them. Chances are if it's on the charts right now I hate it.

And then what also annoys me is the hair bands and country. One reason I quit my grocery store job a couple of years ago and couldn't get along with my old roommate was because they'd both blast country 24/7. My Freshman roommate would blast soft-rock such as Journey and Boston all the time and then leave and leave and leave the door open. My RA would always come by and tell me turn it down... like I'd seriously listen to this **** man.

I'm an alternative guy. Most the bands I like no one under the age of 16 would know about, and I'm okay with that.

I don't like those bands in the 80's that had massive hair and just did it all for the chicks. I also don't like Iron Maiden/Metallica and those type of bands.

But the genre i hate the most is hip/hop, it's good when it's done properly. But i hate people like 50 cent who wheres his "bling" and wants to make another video with nude girls in, so he has to quickly make a rubbish song up.
Pop is just pure rubbish too.
Oh ad Dance/Rave music, it gives me a headache.

lol, depends on the mood for most things. If I'm in a decent mood then I can let anything slide. If I'm in a bad mood Britney Spears at the wrong time can set me off. And Habbo already makes me feel like a grandad when I'm on cause kids will come into my room and we'll talk about the old days of habbo and then they'll ask how old I am and I reply with a simple "almost 21" and they're like "wow! what are you still doing on habbo?" and I honestly don't have an answer for them :P


I'm just glad the boyband thing died down... that got annoying. Actually, I find it's not really any kind of music that bothers me, it's the fans of it that kill me.

I don't dislike any type of music. I think that music is suited to different personalities or moods. For example if you feel angry you might want to have something loud and heavy on, or something to calm you - Classical music, something relaxing. I don't have a favourite as i like all kinds. :)
