You know what really grinds my gears?
People who go to a casino, bet someone, win, and then claim they haven't been paid.

I've fallen victim to this many time in the past, so when I started playing again a few weeks back, I got into the habit of recording all bets that I take/make.

So, this guy comes in, bets me a few times, and then I had to leave so said it was the last game. He won (60c), I paid blah blah, and then he claimed I didn't pay him. Now, door-scammers are quite common these days, but I was sure I had traded him and no one else (plus, he had tried to pull a similar stunt on me previously), so I said I would check the video to be sure before I gave up another 60c.

I checked the video after what seemed like a million hours of waiting for it to 'buffer' and bam - guess who I traded? It was him. So I posted the video on youtube for proof. I even got a 24 hour ban because I kept mentioning 'cam' and stuff. Anyway, even WITH the video proof he wasn't happy. So when he came back a week later calling me a scammer, I got a few people to check it (inc the casino owner), and they confirmed I had paid him.

So, I just wanted to post a word of advice to all you dealers out there - record all your bets and don't take a players word when they say you didn't trade them. Record and check the video.
Its so easy for players to give dealers a bad name.

I know its just a game and everything, but I deal for fun and when I'm bored and have no housework or uni work to do. To deal I need to have people who bet me. If someone brands me a scammer when I am not, that half an hour of fun every few days is gone as people don't trust anymore.

I know a lot of dealers out there are scammers, and they give us a bad name, but why slander those who actually aren't - you just ruin it for everyone else branding the trusted people.

Just to be clear I have never scammed in my 8 years of habbo, and I never will. In fact, I actually tried to scam someone once a few years back - someone who had scammed me a few weeks previously. Took their bet, lost and ran. And you know what? I couldn't do it. I just felt guilty, so I returned and claimed I D.C and paid him. It takes a long time to acquire even the smallest amount of wealth on that game through trading and stuff (it took me a good two years to trade up enough for my first throne), so I think it's cruel. Also, my dealer entry at that casino had cost me a couple of thrones and had increased my dealer reputation bringing me more fun and interesting games - I wasn't just going to throw that away over one guy.

Ok, rant over. Bottom line is, record all bets (dealers AND players), pay attention to the trade and play nicely!! :)

Shame on them for trying to scam you after you've already paid them. The greed of it all is rather frightening.

Recording every trade is the best way to go but, let's face it, the world is full of people like this. It's not just Habbo. I know it's not acceptable but ranting about it doesn't really do much.

lol wouldnt it be easier to take a screenshot of the trade just before u confirm, and makesure u ask them "am i trading you" even tho u are, just make sure so when u screen shot, you even have proof of them agreeing.
